Same here.
@Finck2006 Can you share some info?
Where did you hear it how did you get involved in the after show party?
I was there too and I "recorded " with my camera filming my shoes...and the result was a mess.

Learned something new today...
Theres a cell phone clip of Silkworms from the same 2010 party.
How is it possible that I never knew this?!
I tried to record the song too but it sounded like a wave of noise.
Not worth to share

There's a clip of Silkworms from the party too. You can tell it's been reworked from the leak we got, it's got more guitars and sounds very promising (for those of us who like the song..)
More cool for sure

Has been discussed that the intro of 2006/2010 was The General.
But what about the intro of 2002? Sounds like another piece of Beltrami/Buckmaster.

Any other cool or interesting details you recall of this song, and any others played? I heard they played Silkworms and If the World remix at that party. Would have been cool to know where the source was! I'm sure it was well protected though, and not just a CD player in a closet. Haha
Im sure it was Pitmans ipod

That bass is amazing. I'd rather have that than the keyboards or whatever was in the first leak from 2007, and over Bumble's leads on the album version too, though all are cool in their own way IMO, but I'd vote for the bass over it all.
I do like the later and final intro though.
Caram buried Tommys bass...

Really hope a bunch of leaks this band doesnt deserve less.

Yes, but in his own work. Do you really think after a minimal input on CD, he would suddenly become a producer with Axl and Caram? And leave Slash out of it? And being so out of loop in those interviews?
He produced psychedelic furs, love spit love

As we have fuck all to talk about for months, i'm resurrecting this to discuss the recent rehearsal. I think the intro that has been reconstructed by Duff and Slash is infinitely better than the intro in this leak. With that intro, it is immediately identifiable as a GNR song. It has me excited to hear the studio version and/or a live version soon. I think Axl's vocals were poor, obviously given it was a rehearsal, but it would be interesting to see if Axl re-recorded it at all.
Slash can not improve anything done by Buckethead
