Oklahoma, MAME, Quick Song are instrumentally miles ahead of anything on CD. How in the fuck tracks like IRS, Riad, If The World made it instead is beyond me.
Axl vision was a trilogy of albums so he kept great songs for further albums

The Rough Mixes 1 version has really grown on me recently, but it still really feels like a demo overall (obviously). Brian May is the highlight of the song. It's good but it's definitely not my favourite out of the 4 'new' songs. Supposedly the 'updated' version is longer and I hope they release it eventually.
That's just speculation. It doesn't stand out as Brian's playing like the solos on CITR or Atlas IMO. It could be Robin playing the solo on Perhaps.
Well Brian confirmed he played in 3 songs.
Looks like he recorded the solos the same date.
So perhaps fit on that

There is no AFD with the 2001 lineup - the band in 1998 or 1999 rehearsed and recorded the full album to get the parts down.
They were in negotiations to put Welcome to the Jungle in the movie Black Hawk Down in late 2001, which is why they recorded it again.
I would say its more a rehearsal... that recording was january few days before Rio.
The Black Hawk offer was late 01.

Its so easy Ritz 88, aired on a Catalan TV in 1991.

My 6 year old daughter last night out of nowhere asked me "Who's your Mack Daddy"
The other day happened the sane with my wife.
We were watching tv news and ir was announced the death of al-bagdadi.
It sounds like mcdaddy and she already said whos your mcdaddy hey hey

Two little things I just noticed:
1) Me & My Elvis reminds me structurwise extremely of Ten Years Gone with the building guitar melodies at the end of the song.2) I don't think it matches perfectly but when I listen to the solo section of D-Tune at 3:10, I immediatley thought of his "funny" little solo section at RIR 2001 (at 1:34:10 in the clip), except that here the rhythm is much more organ-based.
Totally agree on the second point.I thought tje same

I found this from the interview from Trunk to Axl in 2006. Interesting...so he could heard something about Tommy out/ Duff back in 2006
Trunk: Axl, let me ask you something real quick, and we're gonna put a song. I wanted to ask you this: Tommy Stinson's still in the band right?
Axl: Absolutely

I still can't believe how people think the band would release an EP and, less than a year later, a full album.
But then again, who's spreading this bullshit? Yeah, right.
The ep can be seen as a single.
Why not?
live like a suicide december 1986 . 8 months later AFD was released.

Everyone says Oh My God is Bumblefoot. To my ear is is 90% not him. The intro guitar is already present on the released version, the rhythm guitar doesn't sound like his tone at all (it doesn't match any guitar tone from any of his albums) The solo is classic bucket using either a single coil guitar or using the coil tap thing on his signature LP with a whammy pedal and the ending guitar is already on the album. I hear no BBF-ness on it
The solo from 2:47 its bumble so Bucket & Bumble both are on the mix

Wowsers - that’s quite specific. An EP would be fine in the short term if we have to wait 12 months for the album.
Where exactly did you read that - Discord?

Its not too late. If they still released an official "Locker Box Set" I would still buy it. They can add some goodies to it about that era, behind the scenes unreleased photo's and perhaps a bonus disc I would really love that.
Im sure theres still more than 35 differents versions of TWAT.
Just kidding, it would be cool

Eazy-E supposedly recorded with Slash and Duff in 1993/1994, tho. Axl said in the 2008 forum chats that he still had the tape.
According to that article was 1991

Am i going absolutely insane, or did I read somewhere at some point that Axl shared a studio with Shaq? Del James said they were in there "rapping" till 4am or something. Am I wrong in thinking anything on this disk he could have rapper over? Even ITW....
They didnt record anything.
Shaq just goofed around with Paul & Dizzy just because they were at the same building
