The solo starts on the 1 but the bar before its a 7/8 so one note is missing.
Im sure its done on purpose. Its actually not that uncommon in rock music to do these things.

To be fair Doug was in many videos too

Same here.
I would really love to hear Robin's solo album someday, if it exists.
He has a soundtrack.
Its pretty good https://www.discogs.com/release/14359513-Robin-Finck-Wordclock-Noct-OST

It's Brain on Hard Skool as well (according to Melissa).
Damn. Didnt know that.
To my ears Hard Skool sounds more like Frank to me but dunno.
Interesting.

As for Frank vs Brain. They probably just didnt want to re-recored all the drums. There is probably stuff we haven't heard with Frank on it
Id guess Frank redid all the drums in 2007 and Hard Skool was one of them. And then the band just chose their fav takes.
No idea if Absurd and Perhaps were played by Frank

I finally heard it.
As a drummer the first thing i noticed are the different drums. So its safe to assume Josh played on the leak and Brain played on the official version.
The song is great. Ill have more opinions later.
My favorite from the leaks Atlas hopefully will come out next.

Listening through headphones, it sounds as if that part keeps going underneath Slash. Wouldn't surprise me if it's Richard and the solo section is the pair of them 'duelling' before Slash gets the spotlight nearer the end
Are we sure the original solo is Robin and not Brian May?

Axl sounds fine to me, but what a lame crowd. Almosg no cheers for Duff

I just wish they'd visited us this year with the setlist changes rather than, although fantastic, Warsaw show last year.
Warsaw had last years best setlist

It's crazy to see TWAT getting this much rotation after all these years.
It was a regular during that Vegas residency, but it's been extremely rare since then.
Would be nice if they just played it every night until everyone has a chance to see it, like they did with Coma.
The only truly rare song on my "GNR Bucket List" that I haven't seen now is "LocoMotive."
I'd be cool with them swapping out something like Estranged if it meant letting everyone experience LocoMotive live.
If they would ever bring back "Breakdown" I'd personally give Axl my blessing to retire. All I've been saying since the 90s is that the UYI "epics" like Estranged, Coma, LocoMotive, and Breakdown need to be performed live. He's almost there.
Im still missing Prostitute and Catcher from my bucketlist and Breakdown,So Fine, Dead Horse.
Ive seen the Whole Appetite album live now, that must be quite rare.

I think it's more to do with when the UK dates come- earlier in the tour.
What was the curfew there? London its 10pm. I think.

To me its works well. Deftones uses the same trick tons to make some parts more "surprising" or intense.
