Which other rock band plays 3h+ shows?
Damn, these 60yr old guys giving their fans all their guts.
I know some bands play like 1h30, 1h45 - if Guns did this, I would feel like being robbed and hit in the face at the same time
I saw Nine Inch Nails in 2014 with Robin Finck. They played 1h25mins. And the tickets were something like 80€.
I was a bit disappointed. Was great to see Robin again.

The show in Tallinn Estonia in 2018 was 3h30mins.
Today was 3h24mins.
Poland 2018 was the same setlist as Tallinn plus Whole Lotta Rosie so the show would have been 3h35mins

Very happy its staying in the set.
I think Slashes solo in Prague was ok but today it was better.

REVIEWS: Guns N'Roses are in good condition. But they stopped developing
Today 9:42No start delay, no cheap gestures, no mores, it was rock and roll. The American band Guns N'Roses performed on Saturday night at the airport in Letňany, Prague, in good condition and excited. Singer W. Axl Rose traditionally struggled with intonation on stage, but he also joked with his colleagues and his technicians, who, for example, provocatively jumped in the way when they came to remove the piano from the stage after the song November Rain.
Axl looked even and happy at all. His tales among the songs were austere, the occasional use of vulgarisms was primarily a reminder of his journey and what he and his band meant for rock history, and above all was the desire to sing and the passion for the work that Guns N'Roses they have accumulated thirty-seven years of existence.
But those years were not always rosy, especially when it came to personal relationships. Axl still led the band, but guitarist Slash, another key figure, started next to him and then missed for twenty years (1996-2016). It's hard to say what the relationship is between the two today. On stage, however, they seemed close to each other, and Axl put his hand on his colleague's shoulders several times.
From the old party, the current line-up also includes bassist Duff McKagan, who has been missing for nineteen years since 1997 before returning. In Prague, he sang with the punk accent I Wanna Be Your Dog, a cover version of a song by the American band The Stooges.
Keyboardist Dizzy Reed, who has been a member of the band since 1990, had a birthday on Saturday, so after Axl's help, the audience sang the Happy Birthday To You song. The youngest member, keyboardist Melissa Reese, played and assisted in the vocal passages, and her voice fit Axl perfectly. It is a great professional and visual benefit for the group.
More than three hours
The Guns N'Roses concert lasted more than three hours. He was rock in every way, with all the pros and cons. The music of the formation is in its essence (with regard to style and lyrics) really "dirty", and such has remained in Letňany. The sound was less legible at times, rather bad at first, and the singer Axl sometimes went beyond intonation certainty, which in his case is a hallmark. At the same time, however, it should be added that at some moments he shone again, especially when he ascended to respectable voice heights or when he engaged his famous sword-like expression.
All Guns N'Roses instrumentalists are of infinite quality in their field. Guitarist Slash is then a legend and has been given space to prove it several times. The solo he played was not just a show of finger speed. His was traditional, played with contemporary driving, dynamic and non-tiring in the audience. He alternated great moments with even better ones, and when there was an instrumental duel between him and the other guitarist Richard Fortus, it was one of the highlights of the evening.
A song selection from the entire history of the band was played, which is what it has been about for every tour since 2016. She released her last album Chinese Democracy in 2008 and her audience is waiting for really new songs. Frankly, the concert repertoire would benefit from some two or three novelties. This is how the Guns N'Roses are a group that has stopped evolving.
Thirty songs were played in Prague, including Don't Cry, a hit that the band played for the second time on the ongoing tour. You're Crazy was performed in the electric version known from the album Appetite for Destruction (1987), the extra Street of Dreams was performed live for the first time since December 2012, and the program also included cover versions of AC / DC songs by Bob Dylan (Knockin ' On Heaven's Door) or Wings.
The tendency to play image projections only as an accompaniment, not as content that completes the composition, proved to be positive. True, when it rained during November Rain and the song Nightrain was accompanied by footage from the night train ride, it smelled of cheapness. But this band was mainly an orthodox rock concert, during which everything else goes aside. And she achieved that. To the satisfaction of the newcomers and obviously to ourselves.
Rating: 70%
So the journalist is bitching about no new songs being played but failed to mention that they played 2 songs released less than a year ago.

And that is what made this concert so special. Very energetic Axl, while he may be lacking in vocal deparment in some songs, his energetic and fun performance made up for it.
Day was extremely hot and I saw lots of people leaving the show early because of dehydrarion sickness.
I came in as soon as gates opened
I was a bit disapointed in not hearing Axl sing WTTJ intro. I think he may accidently switched to band intercom when he was doing the "moaning" intro because nothing came out of the speakers!
Huh. Interesting
The crowd was amazing. A bit too amazing since at the first part of the show they were louder than the band. I think the crowd gave the band some extra energy
I was in front of Slashes wah pedal on Richards side about row 6. I saw Axl sing the intro to WJTT but i didnt hear much of it because the crowd was going nuts.
This was my 6th post 2016 show and i think its second best too. (1. Bangkok. 2. Prague 22. 3.Tallinn. 4. Lisbon 5.Hämeenlinna 6.Berlin
Agree about Axls mood. I never saw him as energetic as he was in Lisbon this year but today was a level up.
I caught Richards pick after November Rain!!
Epic show. Sooo happy to have seen SOD again! The whole atmosphere was amazing.

How the fuck is Frank drumming with a broken hand? I don’t know that much about drumming so looking for a serious answer how he’s doing it. Does it sound worse tonight?
No idea how he did it. But i heard zero difference in his playing.
He is badass if you ask me.

Axl didn't do the intro to WTTJ this time right?
He did .
He just sang it when Slash already started the riff. But he sang it.

My two cents on the Axls voice on youtube thing.
When you are there, the clean voice sonds more powerful. On video the voice sounds weaker since it dosent come from a big pa on 100db. Its like the drums sound alot more powerful when youre there. In studio you would use different eqs ect to fit better a home stereo equipment. Same with the voice. All in all i think he sounded good in Lisbon when i saw them.

At MSG I was there sitting with Mickey Rourke for half of the show before he went backstage. It was either played at MSG or East Rutherford (Meadowland Arena Brendan Byrne Arena/Continental Airlines Arena/IZOD Center whatever it’s called now) because I remember being surprised when they pulled it out. Crazy (no pun intended) how those shows back then where almost 3/4 shorter than what we have been getting for the last 5 plus years.
Hmm i have both of these on bootleg and neither have Youre Crazy.
Of course it could be incomplete. But they seem to have no cuts.
Htgth dosent have Crazy noted on the setlist for those shows either.
But its listed being played in Greensboro and Huntington 2006 just the previous shows. Sadly there no recordings (that i habe atleast)
Htgth noted that they played the electric version of Crazy. No mention of fast or not.
