I think all the songs from the Alt list have everything to do with how Axl is feeling in the moment.

Put HS aside and think of just Dead Horse and Locomotive: those songs are incredibly demanding on Axl, before you even worry about the rest of the band.

So I feel like if/when Axl feels like he can do them justice, he'll bust them out.

Yes. Not to mention that when they play it its gonna be watched a ton on youtube and pretty much no matter how great it will be, lots of comments will be "it was better in 1991"

So they arent gonna play them unless Axl is 120%

I also wonder what's with the Old Josh Drums tracks (from the New Brain Drums disc) as compared to the 2000 Rough Mixes. older? newer? same drum track? different drum track? just randomly checked ChiDem in Audacity and they sure seem very similar, but not even near identical.

Same with those and the rough mixes 01/06/01 tracks.

I think they are the same but not the same mix/mastering.

    Still not 100% sure tho

    This.

The amount of poeole that don't understand this stuns me.

Frank. Plays. To. A. Click. Track.

The tempo is decided on by the whole band, not Frank.

If people are going to shit on the guy, I sure wish they had any idea what they were talking about first.

Im pretty sure they stopped the click track for not in this lifetime.

Excpect on Better and maybe some others

Wow I was wrong about these discs - someones done some funky stuff to those previously released leaks, they're like mono'd or something. These sound like they need mastered and thats about it!

Just so we're all clear (I'm sure someone answered this before) - this is actually the second attempt at the album. Sean Beavan / Youth did the original version of the album with Josh Freese (which also has leaked out there and sounds very raw, very different). This is the result of the Roy Thomas Baker sessions where they effectivly re-recorded the whole album I believe. But this is close to the album that they were looking at releasing in 2001 with that tour that got binned.

However is there no Bucket on this disc at all?

Im pretty sure that these are the Beavian Mixes.

Roy Tomas Baker came in 2001 When Brain startes rerecording drums.

    Correct me if im wrong
