It's funny to think that they could have released Soul Monster right at the beginning of the reunion in 2016, or even earlier obviously!

In 2016 it would have been massive news, and people would have taken the reunion way more seriously, rather than a cash grab tour.

I really want to know how the hell these tracks leaked! Whoever is responsible is a hero. It definitely feels like a malicious move against GNR/TB for snatching The General away from fans at the very last moment.

It'll be really interesting to see if the version of The General on the Perhaps 7" is different to this leak. I definitely cant see them putting out the full version with Monsters included on one side of a 7" single, even if it is technically possible.

I think Monsters is coming on the next CD EP, whenever that is.

Monsters is amazing. Grabbed me more than The General.

Are they going to cancel the 7" and replace it with a 12" single to accomodate Monsters do we think??

I'm still yet to receive an email regarding the delayed Perhaps 7"

However on principle I've now cancelled my Appetite numbered album order which was supposed to ship September 8th (the day after my birthday), that was pushed back until December 31st 

This band is a total joke.

SURELY they have to release this digitally now this weekend as an apology for the vinyl delay?

In any normal band this would be the obvious outcome lol

Chinese Democracy fans right now:

'The General and Monsters' would be a damn awful title for a song.

My guess is 'Monsters' is the instrumental opening part that was played in 2006, as that sounded like something lifted straight out of classic horror movie.

I think 'Monsters' might be entirely absent or heavily edited out of the 7" edit.

And then later on, the full length version, including the complete 'Monsters' intro will be on this heavily rumoured Atlas Shrugged EP coming soon.

Lies is debatable, but many people consider it a studio album.

The Illusion albums are definitely two studio albums, they were marketed and sold as such.

A covers album is still considered a studio album, just obviously not featuring new material.

I doubt it will leak anytime soon, at this point a Nu GNR leak is more likely.

When they land in record stores, a few days before release date is when we might get a vinyl rip.

I am happy with the release of the Perhaps single with the General as a bonus, but they have to release one more double single or an EP with more tracks. 

Its been too long since the Hardschool EP and last year it was the plan to get out at least 4 songs 

I'd be amazed if we anything new in 2023 after The General hits, I'd love to be proven wrong though of course.

Atlas Shrugged would make a great single/EP at some point:

A note to UK fans, don't rush to order the vinyl from the USA store, like I did for Hard Skool.

Give it a week and it should be on the UK store and then you're not paying big shipping rates and extra taxes.
