Apologies if this has been asked/answered - is there any indication that the Blurays will be sold separately? In all honesty I don't think i'll be shelling out for the entire thing but I absolutely would buy the Bluray solus.

I don't think anyone knows for sure yet, I could imagine it being made available separately but at a much later date.

They clearly know the Blu Ray is a big selling point for fans, because in both boxset listings on the website the Blu rays are listed first, before the album track lists.

We may get a situation in the future where the boxsets aren't selling well, and they decide to split the contents like they did with the Locked N Loaded Appetite box. I got my hands on a standalone Sound City Triple LP for very cheap that way.

This is very confusing for me. Yhe boxset edish is outside my price range.

Anyone able to confirm if I buy UYI 1 & 2 CD Deluxe editions for $29.98 each, will i have ALL songs being released?

That's incorrect. You need to buy either the vinyl or CD super deluxe boxsets to get the majority of the tracks, but then you need to buy both 2CD editions to get a further 16 extra songs which aren't available on either boxset. This is a strange situation and something I've never come across before!

These are the 16 extra songs only available on the 2CD editions:

    1. Perfect Crime (Live In London – 8/31/91)
    2. Always On The Run (With Lenny Kravitz) (Live In Paris – 6/6/92)
    3. Dust N’ Bones (Live In London – 8/31/91)
    4. Attitude (Live In Paris – 6/6/92)
    5. Double Talkin’ Jive (Live In London – 8/31/91)
    6. It’s Alright / November Rain (Live In Paris – 6/6/92)
    7. Bad Apples (Live In Rio De Janeiro – 1/23/91)
    8. Wild Horses (Live In Paris – 6/6/92)
    9. 14 Years (Live In London – 8/31/91)
    10. Drum Solo (Live In Paris – 6/6/92)
    11. Slash Solo (Live In Paris – 6/6/92)
    12. Speak Softly, Love (Love Theme From The Godfather) (Live In Paris – 6/6/92)
    13. Sail Away Sweet Sister (Live In Paris – 6/6/92)
    14. Only Women Bleed / Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door (Live In Rio De Janeiro – 1/20/91)
    15. Mama Kin (Featuring Steven Tyler & Joe Perry) (Live In Paris – 6/6/92)
    16. Train Kept A Rollin’ (Featuring Steven Tyler & Joe Perry) (Live In Paris – 6/6/92)

  3. I'm looking forward to the live audio, but if we don't get at least one disc of demos that would be a real missed opportunity.

If we don't get the Perfect Crime documentary as part of this boxset we probably wont ever see it. If they had any sense they would get it streaming on Netflix a week or two prior to the release of the boxset to build hype.

Did you take this screenshot yourself? Also has there actually been any screenshots of GNR showing up when you type Atlas or is it just someone saying that lol?

I still get Guns N Roses appear on Spotify when I type in State Of Grace. GNR now shows up as the 3rd result, last night they were slightly further down the list.

If we do indeed get State Of Grace officially we must surely be getting at least some unheard Axl vocals, as there are parts in the Village version where you can barely hear what Axl's saying.

State Of Grace is probably my favourite song from the leaks so I'm really pumped to hopefully hear it.

Does anyone know if the merch sold at gigs are online anywhere? I didn’t have time to get a shirt at London.

Neither did I. I was there on the Saturday and got to my seat in good time for the 6:45 start and then waited 90 minutes for them to come on! All the time wishing I had gone to check out the merch shops and grabbed myself a t-shirt. So annoying.

  6. Anyone else buy from See Tickets? The last email I had from them was June 10th telling me that all tickets for the gig are now etickets, and that a follow up email would arrive shortly but I've heard nothing since.

We're now less than a week away from the gig, so I'll have to email them Monday or Tuesday if I've still heard nothing.

    Pretty poor service.

I’ve threw on the Latin American Selects and as there seems to be no plans on the horizon for an official documented release to capture the magnitude of the monstrous Not In This Lifetime Tour by way of Blu Ray despite claims from Fernando saying otherwise a few years back, do you think they now deem the Selects as filling that void and that any supposed plans for a physical release of a live show with proper mixing/mastering have been scrapped indefinitely?

I think the NITL live album / Blu Ray was scrapped in favour of the EPs.

I wouldn't be surprised if the live tracks on the EPs are what Fernando deems to be the best material that was originally meant to come out from the Blu Ray / live album.

I can live without an official live release from the NITL tour, especially if it potentially threatens getting new songs.

Sorry to say but to me this album is the opposite of the other records...

On the other records you had 2-3 maybe 4 songs that you could vote out easily but then it became hard because of the songs were all so good. And with this record I don’t know what to vote out first because they're too many bad ones...

You're insane if you think Spaghetti Incident has overall better songs than Chinese Democracy.

What makes you think that there are actual finished songs? Which artist, other than Tupac had a steady flow of new songs released after their death?? Not even with Prince there is much forthcoming.

It doesn't matter if the songs aren't finished. Universal would bring in a producer to finish off whatever is in the vault and release an album to satisfy the publics hunger for new GNR material when Axl passes. Its basically guaranteed assuming Axl doesn't have something in place that actively blocks new GNR material when he dies.

If Michael Jackson albums continue to be released after his death with the controversy around MJ new GNR albums after Axl passes are an 100% certainty in my opinion.
