Looks promising. I don’t actually follow Guns N’ Roses on social media or anything, I just couldn’t be f*cked and lets face it there’s nothing to follow. But I just noticed the above Instagram (?) post of theirs and it suggests 4.7m followers. Now ‘m’ either stands for million or mediocre (jokes) but if it is 4.7 million then that is pretty impressive. How does that compare to more popular contemporary artists and bands? Seems decent popularity. Maybe they should release new music and capitalise on that :-)
Gnr is pretty popular despite their lack of music and various mess ups. It still amazes me that they have two 1 biliion viewed song while Michael Jackson has none. Contemporary pop artist lady gaga has only one.

Stephen colbert mentions this at 7 min mark
Lol all the top news media outlets are covering this, definitely not just a silly matter.

Oh absolutely. These leeches are reading this thread and laughing their asses off. Fernando and Beta have proven time and again what scum they are. And going by Vanessa's treatment of Axl in that video where he couldn't find his car, I'm guessing she's no exception.
Which video?

Was thinking about it the other day - if I had to pick my favorite moment or contribution from each member of GNR's entire lineup, what would that list look like? So here you go:
AXL - the following from Don't Damn Me. Love the lyrics, love the voice Axl uses, love the melody, love the vocal effects - this part of the song is just great.
I know you don't want to hear me crying
An I know you don't want to hear me deny
That your satisfaction lies in your illusions
But your delusions are yours an not mine
We take for granted that we know the whole story
We judge a book by it's cover and read what we want
Between selected linesSLASH - solo in It's So Easy. A short but BADASS solo that matches the energy and attitude of the whole song. Love it.
IZZY - Patience
DUFF - intro to SCOM
STEVEN - Mr. Brownstone
MATT - Locomotive - might be some of my favorite drumming in the whole GNR catalog. Love the story about Matt using a little jazz kit on this song, too.
DIZZY - Estranged piano solo...I guess
GILBY - his live performances...I guess
TOMMY - his fills on the second half of TWAT
ROBIN - Better
JOSH - his drumming during the TWAT solo
BUCKETHEAD - TWAT solo
CHRIS - Madagascar synth
BRAIN - his drumming on Shackler's
FRANK - his badass fill at the end of the Bucket solo in IRS
BUMBLEFOOT - his outro in CITR
DJ - his live performances...I guess
FORTUS - his contribution to the riff in the Better chorus
MELISSA - her live performances...I guess. (Her backing vocals on Madagascar)
Feel free to share yours.
so happy that you mention Don't damn me. One of my most favourites. Everything in this is perfect.

He said Slash was the snake, but still joined with him im VR. He badmouthed Axl all the time and still wanted to be a part of GNR engine. I don't get this guy, honestly. Is he a hypocrite? Is he honest? Damn right.

How can I listen to it? Didn't hear about this channel before. And how was the concert? Did anybody remember?

whoa this thread is getting hot suddenly! But why?

I love his whole lotta rosie 1986 version, so powerful.
To think that we have listened to so many versions of this song 😂
1. Original Bon version
2. Live Bon version.
3. Live Brian version
4. Axl's 1986 version
5. Axl's 2010 raspy version
6. Axl/DC version
Is there anything else?

Out of boredom, I decided to try to count the number of songs this band has officially released:
AFD=12, Lies=7, UYI=29, TSI=13, Live Era=1, End of Days=1, GH=1, ChiDem=14, AFDem=4 (Motivation, Another Brick in the Wall, Objectify, and The Seeker), and Locked N Loaded=7 (SOYL, Rosie, Heartbreak Hotel, Jumpin Jack, The Plague, New World Tune, and Aint Goin Down).
So 89 songs (26 of which are covers).
Compare that to RHCP (which officially formed just a couple of years earlier), who have around 230 officially-released songs (give or take a few).
This is why a new album would be nice. But if it doesn’t happen, then so be it.
This is frustrating bcz Axl has one of the largest vocal ranges ever and didn't even release 100 songs.

No one wants the fans to start comparing Chicago 92 Axl with Berlin 2018 Axl, that's why...
We still have the 92 footages though, just in bad shape. And people complains and compares all the time. So why bother 😐

i dont think he would call all his own crew dirty although its possible also provided the coronavirus im guessing he labelled them as being dirty cause in shipping crew relies on local logistics
That is just a random statement. He swears all the time. When he said 'calm down, motherfuckers' does he really meant that we're motherfuckers? No. He meant 'calm down people', just in an aggresive way. Similar is the case is this. He didn't call the Mexican crews 'dirty' literally. And you bring the topic of coronavirus, that's just ridiculous. Also, I'm not white and faced racism, so I think I understand when anyone is being racist or not.

The ultimate twist would be not to play any of the soundchecked songs. Nope, I am not going back on the hype train.
Hehe Nolan level twist except so fine. Atleast they get rid of the new covers.

I already love what Slash has added to the guitar riff.
It sounds much more like a GN’R song now (guitar wise) than the original demo that leaked.
Exactly, the intro is more gnr-esque now

Not excited about more old (released) songs being played, but I do love Think About You, it's a major hit in an alternate timeline.
Yeah, especially the ending

I’ve always maintained that some of Axls best vocals ever are on TSI. Human Being is a perfect example.... if only they’d released an album of originals around 94-96. No doubt in my mind it could have outdone AFD
Damn so true! Tsi and sympathy for the devil vocal is beyond amazing. If only they could work with some of the snakepit tunes.

I feel good is amazing. Slash's riff is amazing and Axls vocals are sublime
Same! He brings some rasp during suger and spice bit and hold a 15 second long note. And Slash made this badass.

Why no love for we will rock you? I think it's good (if not great). All 4 songs on Freddy Mercury concert is awesome imo. But in another concert (wembley 92?) Axl sang 'tie your mother down' and it sounds not so great (maybe cz of some vocal problems)
My worst is
Come together
Slither
Black hole sun

Jimmy fallon is extravagant but clearly an Axl fan. There's other videos too where his guests are talking about Axl. Unfortunately he could not bring him to his show.

As an apparent result of the feud between Axl Rose and Steve Mnuchin this week, "Guns N' Roses Greatest Hits" – which was released all the way back in 2004 – has reentered the iTunes top ten rock album chart.
