I hate to rain on your parade again, buddy, but I think you are a bit too optimistic here.

The way the band worked, I don't think there is much unheard material. What they did was send in song ideas to the rest of the band, or present them when they met (like in Chicago). Then they decided upon which songs to try out, Duff and Matt and Slash would work on them. And from this there would likely be quite a bit of recordings of various instrumentals because I assume these rough demos without vocals would be shared among the band members and others for further work. But then they quickly decided on which songs they wanted and went into pre-production to churn out decent versions of the songs, all without vocals. By January 1991 they had recorded 35 songs, but only a few with vocals. I think there are about 40 songs on UYIs + SI., + Ain't Goin' Down. So they didn't record much that didn't end up on either. We know they recorded a Hanoi Rocks song (without vocals) and Down on the Streets by The Stooges (without vocals), but those are the only two I can think of. Likely a few other instrumentals, both originals and covers.

And the very last thing that happened was Axl adding vocals and from statements they made at the time, it doesn't seem like he added vocals to many more songs then those that ended up on the albums.

Wow! Down in the street is one of my favourite. It'd be cool if they covered it.

As much as it's easy to take jabs at the ticket sales, lack of new music, and so forth, I don't think anyone here is saying they want the tour cancelled. The question is will it be cancelled - be it by Guns, Live Nation, or other forced external factors pertaining the virus. It does indeed remain a possibility and that's what the discussion is. Doesn't mean it will be, doesn't mean it won't be. It is a very real possibility that some shows could be postponed depending on what some nations decide to implement.

I heard your movie got delayed?

Europe tour cancellation is entirely possible atm.

Im afraid what they will release wont match up the hype, from 87 to 93 era. I have no interest of patched up CD left overs new written music but that wont happen. I think they are between a rock and a hard place, in terms of what they release will be good enough.

If axl had released music under a solo name not under GNR, there will be less pressure for all involved for new music under the GNR name.

I think new music is for an excuse for touring not "for the fans". Which was the bands attitude for releasing illusions... it was for the fans.

Nothing will match that era. Even the rock music fan's mentality are different nowadays. No one cares enough. Still Ac/dc or Metallica releases new music, let alone other fans. I don't know what Axl thinks, but he shouldn't take pressure in 'new music in 12 years' thing. Slash's work have certain impacts too, so CD leftovers have potentials I think.

You’re right I am a fan - way before the internet - had to to read -Rolling Stone -  Metal Edge - Hit Parader - Rip magazines time get info

Didn’t know being a day 1 fan made me childish

to each their own -  Proud to be a childish fan

    ty for the compliment

I don’t have any inside info just a Wealth if knowledge I have stored in my blank mind since 1987 - Yes I am that damn old

Slash's name has huge brand value. So, if it includes Slash's work, Looney Tunes must've mentioned his name, right? At least once? It's that simple. No need to create division among us fans.

Sadly Axl’s voice fell off following the ACDC run in America. By early 2017 his voice had changed, we’ve heard variants of Axl’s voice that we haven’t heard before since. ACDC might have trashed his vocals. I haven’t heard anything redeeming besides “I feel good”. I think 2016 was all he had left but I’d be happy to be proven wrong,

I feel good is awesome. Rock the rock is definitely better than some of his performances. That's why he needs to try new music ( not as heavy as shoot to thrill but something else).

Has Axl always wanted to the band back together?  I was'nt aware of this...

Sebastian Bach told in an interview after the reunion that, around 2006 or so, they were drunk bitching all night long about the old band. But then Axl said, who knows? Maybe someday we'll be back together.

slaxl or not, he always wants Slash back. Atleast that's my impression.

If Axl doesn't want something to be released I just suppose he will destroy it before he dies so someone doesn't release it posthumously against his will. Just imagine that, Axl burning the vault because he is not happy with it and don't want it out. He erased an early version of This I Love, didn't he? Maybe the vault is already gone.

Damn! that'd be so Axl like.
