I've noticed it before and always wondered too. Kinda sounds like a female saying stop to me.

That's what I'd like to know. Why they never sat together when writing for UYIs?

But there's parts here in there in that song where he sounds more like Sebastian but seems to kinda morph into sounding like Axl. Like at the end if the song. That last never let you go.

The singer in Stealheart kinda reminds me of what it would sound like if Axl and Sebastian's vocals morphed into one.Especially the main end of the song.

I know that I'll probably get a bunch of flack for this,but I like Matt's drumming on Back Of Bitch better.Although,I do like the demos of the song.But for me it needed the more heavier,deeper,bombastic whatever/however ya want to describe it lol.

The letter E in what looks to be Steven Adler at the top of the paper,looks like the handwriting that we know as Axl's handwriting.

And no one answered my question.There's a picture/poster on the left,close the the back of the locker.It kinda looks like the artwork for a t-shirt the band had.And I think the shirt was titled

Coma.Mught not be but looks like similar art work to me.

Is that picture on the left when they enter the unit the Coma picture?

Trying to watch this and it keeps getting stuck on when they find the AFD pic or is it a framed vinyl of AFD original cover?

If you notice in the Dead Pool.when they are on a boat or at the dock or whatever.In that scene,It's only Izzy,Slash and Duff and Slash shoots the harpoon.No where is Axl or Steven in this shot.Only scene in the movie with all five guys,is during the funeral.

So, it could very well be true.Being that Steven and Axl are both missing from the scene at the boat dock or whatever.

To each his own,I happen to like Axl's piano playing. Always like hearing him play his solo spot before Nov.Rain.

And no weird off the wall sound effects.

I don't care when he'd release it,as long as he did sometime in his lifetime.

I love listening to some of the demos that's just piano.But someday I would love to hear those songs with just piano as a studio recording.

I don't think it would make a difference tho,as far as him getting it the piano of his system.Cause he has played piano just about as long as he has been a singer.

I would so buy an all Axl piano album.Nothing but piano.He could go back and play all the things he has written that was released;like Nov.Rain,Estranged etc.

But then like on part two,record some of his favorite things that he likes to play that's not necessarily GN'R related.

It could be sort of like a UYI I&II type of deal.

I would so buy that!!!

Yeah,I tend to like the girl horn players n backup singers too. But I'd say the same had they been guys.In my opinion there at least needed to be the horn players live.

Oh and my rank would be the original 5 or minus Izzy and Steven and plus Matt and Gilby.And Dizzy regardless.

That's all I could find right now.And I was going to change the title of the thread to Videos Comparing Axl Vocals:Then and Now. Or some along those lines.

It's not quiet the same but it's passable as far as vocals.But band wise,hands down the old guys,only because I love the more twanginess of it.Definately prefer Duff's twangy/funky bass.I don't know if its the audio quality of the more recent performance,but the bass seems like its barely there.And for me,that's part of what makes the song.

I love his jacket in the Oklahoma vid too!Just needed to be tailored a little bit more lol

Wish someone would let Axl hear the first vid posted,blindfolded and hear what he would have to say.

But some of those recent Estranged clips,he sounds like he's been sucking on helium and not oxygen.

And the Indiana clips,the whole show sounded like he had razors blades in his throat.But,I'd say that prior to the show a lot of screaming and yelling went on.Wasn't this the show where he had a rough time with his family back in I Indiana?

Plus probably partied some with some of his old friends from back in the day?

The Oklahoma Estranged is the best hands down.Thats the closest to the actual voice on the recording.

But WOW!Big difference!My fav from this clip/clips is Oklahoma tho

Axl is a strange guy......he doesn't like MJ yet he has sang a song that was predominately MJ ABC,Easy as 123 lol.Which of course,knowing Axl,he would say,"But that's The Jackson 5"

Didn't Axl take a jab at Slash when they were at an awards show?Saying,"And this has nothing to do with Michael Jackson."

Then again it could have been he was saying that GN'Rs video/music wasn't comparable to MJ?Cause I think is was the Vanguard award at the VMAS.

But then again,it could have been both.Taking a jab at Slash and don't compare us to MJ.

Seems like I read that in a magazine around the time it happened.That Axl was chilling,drinking and smoking backstage.I can't remember which mag tho.

One being,at the time I was loyal to RIP mag.Don't know if that's where I read it or not.But don't think so.

Boy that's going to be confusing abbreviating Appetite For Destruction and Appetite For Democracy.
