I'm started to get invested in Joe Williams' conversations (less so his singing)

Looking forward to hearing this. And also can't help but think how weird it would be to play in a band that contemplates setlist additions for two years before (hopefully) carrying them out. It's a whole 'nuther world up there.

I checked out Wichita on a stream of a recent show and it was still a definite highlight for me. Easily my favourite cover of their set at the moment. As much as I love the Stooges, I Wanna Be Your Dog feels a bit like punk (as fuck) cabaret...but it's still good to have something new/different in there.

I have just watched a clip of Axl singing Witchita and was blown away. If I looked away I could imagine it was the young Axl singingd. I was in two minds on whether to go and see them in the UK next year but with all the positive comments regarding recent concerts I shall definitely be going.
Has anybody else changed their mind?
yeah, I dig it. Would like to hear it recorded. The tasteful arrangement is at odds with Axl's costume jewellery!

Thanks Axl 💖 I last saw GnRs as a 15 year old girl in 1988, Sydney. I lied to my very Catholic parents to get to see you!.. My friend and I were in the front row, almost fainted… Now I’m seeing you in Sydney this November 2021 and I’m taking my 15 year old daughter ☺️ We have tickets right down the front… 33 years later… Blessings to you, my fellow Pisces Moon. See you in Nov… much love, Lori and Candace 😘

I had Absurd blasting in the car earlier. I'm still unbelievably buzzing that they released something, but the overlapping/chopping before the first 'Screaming fucking banshee' really is disgraceful, how can that slip through and not get sorted?
I've got to assume it's an artistic choice to break up the samey cadence?

In short, I had 100x more fun than I ever expected I would. You know why? Because the band put it a lot more effort, they tweaked the setlist and they included new music.
Absurd doesn't do much for me but it's astonishing what the inclusion of a new song or two can do for a band's energy! Signs of life.
As primarily an AFD fan I'd kinda hoped (foolishly) that Guns would hit the ground running like the Dinosaur Jr reunion and dive into making records.
It's been a long five years, but still living in guarded hope these guys have found ways to collaborate again.
