  1. I second that. Also for all the documents on the Sheila Kennedy case. I can't always get to open the files @Blackstar posts from the other forum but I'm thankful she shares all the updates here which allows us to follow the developments. Thank you 🌹
  2. Not sure if you're trolling but in case you're serious - would you still talk the same if it wasn't Sheila Kennedy but someone close to you making these claims? Would you still defend Axl "anyways"? Your fanatic view and turning a blind eye is why women still don't report. That being said, you also seem to be blind to the discussion here in the thread. There are people among us who are on Axl's side and who have exposed Sheila's scheme. However, we did NOT do so blindly and just because it's Axl and we have to have his back. He's someone very close to my heart cause I come from the same background of abuse as he does and I got to spend some time with him and yes, some people call me loyal to a fault. I AM on his side, however not because he's Axl but because Sheila Kennedy has no credibility. I come from a family of lawyers and have researched her thoroughly which included reading her book - the complete book - and my personal conclusion is that she's not a victim. In contrast, I've been involved in the year-long investigation of another public person and in his case there's been personal experiences (and those of a friend) and there's been over 200 reports by various people. There is a CASE and even though it also took years to reach the public that man really did harm women/girls. It's all about balance and looking at the evidence, not blindly hating the one side and defending the other.
  3. Yes, and when you look at it that way, the entire abuse could've been inserted. They call it screen memories and has been done a lot to children who later (some still in childhood) enter the entertainment industry. Axl's childhood would be a classic scenario (not knowing the biological parent/s, church or military environment, abuse starting at the age of 1-2 amongst other markers) There are even studies as to how these children are programmed to turn into a specific personality type, for instance the studious kid, the musical prodigy, and so forth. This would unnecessarily expand the discussion though and again, for me personally it doesn't sit well to discuss a person's trauma and story when the person isn't part of it. He's suffered enough and coming from a similar background as Axl, my heart still breaks for him when I think how he and his life were turned into such a mess and how he got into all that unnecessary drama with people and had to be his own enemy for so long. And that's why I'm also furious about that Sheila Kennedy "case" and that's why I asked in the other thread right when it started if she was aware of his past and trauma before she made her claims. If she was aware of who she did use and provoke there in the situation (she herself said he was about to explode and yet she kept escalating the situation). She surely was not and then her scheme backfired and she cries wolf. Again, he was a child, she was not.
  4. This. Apparently you didn't read the interviews then. In early 1992 he publicly stated that he had memories/feelings come up that it happened to him and that he suspected it years ago. He only started the regression therapy in 1991, so do the math. Again, it is his trauma and for him to discuss but he had memories before - memories are also physical and he had physical problems in areas that told him he had sexual trauma. As an abuse victim, and especially when it happens in childhood, you will always experience physical sensations, mostly stress/nervous system-related symptoms when you enter certain situations again in your life cause when you're that young you can't consciously process these things and the memories will express themselves as cellular and muscle memory. These sensations are what makes people enter regression-/hypno therapy and this is also how it happened in his case. To compare his situation with Sheila Kennedy, to me is just cruel and doesn't speak of much intelligence. Unlike her, he outed everything in order to understand what happened to him and to become a better person. The details that kept "changing" from time to time, like the father or stepfather question, are the way he was remembering and sorting things for himself at the time, not to deliberately falsely accuse someone or to sell, like Sheila Kennedy does. Some people seem to forget that he was a child, he was a victim of the circumstances and couldn't get out because he was depending on those involved. She was a grown woman who would go out and deliberately (and self-admittedly) seek to sleep with and secure rich and powerful men who would give her a good time, money and play their part in her taking revenge on other men. Between her and Axl there are WORLDS.
  5. He started the regression therapy after having memories coming up. The memory/feeling that it had happened was what made him start regression therapy.
  6. That may very well be but this won't wash in court. She can't use Axl and the situation to speak about the industry. This was an isolated event in a private circumstance. Lawyers only focus on what happened in the given situation. And again, if they read her book she has no point - especially not when it comes to the "unsafe" industry. Her entire book tells her story of wanting money and fame from sex and using rich and influential men for this. What she's trying now is a case of "shit where you eat". She profited and worked her entire life around being advanced by the men she now wants to hold responsible and paint as "monsters". As to the "Monsters" question, I also do not believe she was referring to the song. She's not that thorough. Pretty early on in this thread I wrote that I wonder if she knows about Axl's childhood and what happened to him. I personally don't believe she did bother to look into this before she went with him and before she made her accusations. If she was really interested to fight sexual abuse then she should be interested in what happened to him too. But no, she just saw "the fucker" that she wanted. There's so many things that would break her neck in court. To clarify though, my previous post was no objection to you at all. On the contrary, I liked your post cause the quote was news to me. It was a criticism of Sheila Kennedy.
  7. Wasn't so difficult when she bragged with the story in her Kiss and Tell book. And she wasn't (allegedly) assaulted by Axl in the "industry" but in a private situation that she herself initiated.
  8. Someone on YT said that the Oklahoma song title was changed to "Berlin" at some point. Anybody know anything about it?
  9. That's what I've been thinking too. And I've been wondering how old they are - if they're even the two "boys" in the video. Like some nerd kids playing grown-ups by creating some larger than life avatars in a computer game. I really tried to give the video a chance but I still can't find a way to like it. It's the most immature and non-GNR thing GNR could've employed. Yes I know, times are changing and we have to go with the technology blabla but to me, Guns N Roses has always stood for raw and organic (sounds like a vegan food slogan but maybe some know what I mean). They used to be the epitome of ROCK. I also find it turns Axl's traumatic past and his mission to be an ambassador against child abuse into a farce. Which (coming from the same past story he did) saddens me the most. He could've taken that song and turn it into something really powerful. With some kind of minimalist video maybe, something real. It's just deeply disappointing.
  10. Not for no reason. He saved everyone's life by destroying the cake after Stephanie (who was the only one to actually taste it) died from it.
  11. In Slash's case it was both - him and a double. IIRC in the Making Of you can even see him asking Andy why he needs a double and that moment the double walks by. However, he talks about being in a wet suit as well and one can see that in the water it's a mix of both him and the double (who is more sturdy and has different moves)
  12. I'm well aware that he wasn't actively involved with GNR and Axl at the time. But when he mentioned the spells on Axl he was directly addressing Fernando. I never said these two cases were connected but they show a theme and that girl and her mother working black magick on Axl as was mentioned by fans who were around back then may have had something to do with why Beta wanted her gone. A lot of people have tried to influence/manipulate Axl with spiritual practices over the years (I don't even want to know what kind of BS these women who made it a sport now to collect his used band-aids do with his DNA) and Beta surely is aware of it. She wears a necklace with a tiny pendant showing Holy Mary and it didn't look like just jewelry to me but struck me as something very special and meaningful to her, and while I'm not religious it left an impression on me. After what fans tried to tell me about her (and still try to tell me) I had that image of her and was very surprised to find out she's so not like those fans want her to be. Some of them even claim that she's the one who put spells on Axl.
  13. Yeah because - according to someone in the comments on the video in which she had secretly filmed him (even while he was drunk) - she and her mother put black magick on Axl. Doug Goldstein also once mentioned something about a satanic curse (no idea if it was the same incident) and Beta supposedly wanted her gone because of that. No idea if that's true though. As to the general debate here in the thread whether Axl and Beta are/were married/in a relationship --
  14. Yep. When I was at their hotel last summer I bumped into Beta first. It was still early in the morning and she just came back in from a shopping errand. Everything was still quiet and so she and I chatted a little. When she showed me her shopping I asked if Axl was here and she laughed and said, "Is Axl here!" (Like, "Where else would he be?") and then she said, "Where I am, there is Axl." And the way she said it was like a mother talking about her child, her tone was like, "He's a handful!" You could tell she's very protective of him but she's this motherly type in general. She even talked to me in that warm mommy way. Like when I said last time I met him was 30 years ago and that I was in the MJ video with Slash back then in the same country we were at now she smiled and said, "Oh, but you were still very little then." Now, I do look younger than my age and I said, "Well, I wasn't so little anymore" but she just has this way about her like she can't help being a mom. It was very interesting to be included this way as I had only heard bad stories about her, like she's a dragon and pushes everyone female away from Axl. And even after people heard about my day with them there some were still trying to tell me that TB is awful, and they almost got mad at me that Beta did not push me away. Fernando the same - he was very warm and helped me with my phone, kept me updated on their schedule, where everyone was and who was leaving when for the show etc, and when he went for a walk later while the band (minus Axl) was already off for soundcheck he was super chill and didn't have a problem to leave Axl "unattended" behind, he even told me where to catch him and he asked me to come out to the gig later on. Everyone was super relaxed, there was no watchdog atmosphere at all. As for Beta and Axl, they have a dynamic I observed a lot with - especially - rock musicians over the years. Off the stage many of them were really shy and timid and needed to be taken care of. They were like children. I became friends with many other girls at the gigs and we'd hang with the guys backstage or on their days off and I've seen some of them literally clutch at the girls' coats like kids do cling to their mothers. Some couldn't even keep eye contact. They always had their head down. One guy from a band asked one girl when he got on the bus after a gig to come with him cause he didn't wanna let go of her. And this wasn't something sexual, it was like a deep loneliness and being "lost" in life. Some musicians, like Prince, always had "sister-wives". They were usually their age or a lot younger. Others needed mother-wives, usually older or "bossy" in a way, and Axl is one of them. He needs someone to keep his life together and who adds structure and a sense of safe and secure, something he didn't have growing up. It doesn't mean there can't be other women. Beta's status is different from that.
  15. Can't help yourself, can you, Mr Keto Diet LOL Of course her statement was cold towards Axl and of course she negates women's sexual agenda with her "assessment". The Four Agreements has been a great help in the lives of people but one needs to read it, not just type it into Google But since you're Ratam's mouthpiece, please tell us how she's in the position to know that Axl is single. Can't wait!
  16. No, let's not. Let's read what Ratam wrote cause those were her words, not what you try and make them out to be now. Again, reading isn't so much your thing, is it. But that's the point of using language - to express what you want to say. Not to write something that then first has to go through SoulMonster's filter and be translated for people to get what someone really means. I think neither Ratam nor BluegrassBlues need you to be their mouthpiece, just like I don't need your claims/assumptions over my past and what people may have said about it. You do not know me, or anything about my personal life. My impression of Ratam was that she seems to be a lovely person and that's why I found it unfortunate that such a cold statement would come from her. I was looking for the emoji or some LOL in her post but there was none, and from the context of the posts by people before and after, it was a serious statement. And I am surely not the only one who understands it the same way. There's always time to edit or at least later say, OK, this was a silly thing of me to say, but it didn't happen. Instead, the blame is being shifted on someone else for not having the right "sense of humour". Imagine if everyone did that - say something and then expect the other people to guess what they really mean. It would lead the very purpose of language and conversation ad absurdum. Again, say what you mean and mean what you say. Especially after we've had a discussion about Axl's abuse and trauma in which I experienced Ratam and BluegrassBlues as rather empathetic I found it quite disappointing to see that - in Ratam's case - the compassion didn't reach beyond that other thread. Also, who tells you (or Ratam) that Axl is single? Who are you to be able to make that assessment? Again, The Four Agreements is a great read. It tells you how making assumptions can make your life and that of others unnecessarily complicated.
  17. No, you claimed people in my past had. That's exactly what her post implied.
  18. But that's on you - you asked me for the story and you were the one that brought porn into a harmless situation no one had a problem with - but you. Not to derail Karice's thread any further but have you met people from the porn industry? I have friends in it, from producers to "actors" and I did have discussions with some of the women about the very things you mention there. Cause I couldn't imagine that they would want this kind of life. One of them even posted on her FB for everyone to see that she was "born to do it" after she did her first DP shoot. I couldn't believe it and now, about 10 years later, I have to say she's aged faster than most people I know and she lost the youthful vibe she had when we met. But she was still happy with her choice and it is her choice only. Women have power and they also had it back in the day. Like that Sheila Kennedy. Her book doesn't tell the story of a dehumanized victim. She deliberately went out to have sex with "that fucker". Like she did with many others. Her life was all about fame and money. Her own words. It's trendy to blame it all on the patriarchy today and to portray women as victims. Sadly, this makes it hard for real victims to even still be believed as I've witnessed in the Russell Brand investigations. One question - do you listen to Rocket Queen?
  19. Again, this discussion has nothing to do with my sexual opinions or behaviour but with the things people have said in this thread. No one knows anything about my personal life/sexuality, I don't get how anyone could have criticised me for it and where you get this idea from.
  20. Again, projection. And yes, I am deliberately using the word cause that's exactly what you and also SoulMonster are doing. I've never called myself a fan, you did. I shared my background on another thread. Your last line there makes no sense at all LOL especially in connection with your next post. Ever heard the phrase "I'm only responsible for what I say, not what you read into it" ? I recommend reading "The Four Agreements". Say what you mean and mean what you say. Simple principle. These were your words, not my (perceived) lack of sense of humour. The context of the discussion around it shows you were not joking. Own it.
  21. Is it really so hard for you to read? I said it was another poster, not BluegrassBlues who made this remark. It does not only judge Axl's person and sexuality but also denys women's sexual agency, insinuating that no woman could possibly enter a relationhip with him. Because he's (been) into kinky sex he has to stay single. If that's not condescending and immature I don't know what is. After people on social media heard that I met him last summer I was bombarded with friend requests and messages from women asking me if I could take them with me next time. One of them seriously asked me to teach her to become a groupie (complete misconception of my person). Women my age are still crazy for Axl (or their projection of him) and they really do want to meet him. Unlike the little fangirls nowadays that prefer their bunny ears Axl glam edits and run screaming at the chance to actually meet him. This has nothing to do with my opinions on sexuality. I'm not the one here who gets her knickers in a twist over Axl - or Guns in general - being a sexual person. On the contrary... LOL
  22. I didn't ask in a snarky way and I don't appreciate my words being twisted. Nowhere did I say that they filmed Matt Sorum. They used the studio equipment to record it (audio) as they did with Axl on Rocket Queen - which had been brought up on this thread. My comment was in reply to that as you will see when you read it back. I don't understand this part, maybe you care to explain. And again, no twisting my words, please. I didn't find it silly, I find it downright condescending to judge Axl for his sexuality and to deny women's sexual agency. How immature can someone be to have such a limited view on human nature and sexuality. But yeah, they're a Guns N Roses fan... LOL
