In sincerity, I quite enjoyed them opening with Chinese Democracy on the 2006 tour. (If memory serves, which it probably doesn't because I'm old enough to remember 2006).

It was harsh though. Dazey's finding career success and has managed to keep his American wife around of her own volition for almost ten years now. That's quite something.

Well that's my grandma's Christmas present sorted. 

On my Apple music, I recently put a general ban on explicit content, as I have a three year old who doesn't need to hear all the language in that album. But My Michelle and Rocket Queen made it past the filter, with all the family values. 

I can leave or take GN'R these days, I've had my fill. But AFD led me to this forum, where I've met some really wonderful people who have changed my life for the better. 

That's such shame. I saw Cinderella open the main stage at Download 2010. They were a really solid band which didn't rely on gimmicks as others of their time did.  Rest in peace, and thanks for the memories. 

Scott Weiland and Lemmy also played that day.

Here, it feels like you can't walk down the street without passing a brewery. Also, rhubarb grows really well here. I'm what's known as the 'rhubarb triangle'. Everyone grows it in their garden, I can't give it away!

There's a new sports stadium in my city. Recently, the public had the chance to upload a photo of themselves to go on these banners in the stadium. Some clever soul uploaded a photo of Purple Aki! 

I uploaded one of my daughter, but haven't spotted it yet. Perhaps she's making way for the muscle toucher!

While we were waiting for Chinese Democracy, once in a blue moon, there would be leaked music, or a cryptic comment from a band member. We got one world tour in 2008. 

Nothing has changed. Leading us on then delivering close absolutely nothing is what Guns N' Roses have done for 25 years. They'll dangle a carrot such as the Greatest Hits release or whatever, to bring in new fans and engage the older ones.

The only thing that has changed is that we're 100% sure who is in the band now. We got our semi-reunion. 

We've all heard the excuses about Axl's creative perfectionism. But professionals deliver. 
The last thing this band will do is actually announce they've quit. But if they were working, we'd get new music.

Other types of music genres have their own award shows and that's okay, but not the rock and roll shows. I guess it would be considered racist to not include all types of acts now. Don't get it?

From what I've gathered, the RnR Hall of Fame isn't taken seriously by anyone but the people who work for it. I remember Jon Bon Jovi being asked what the award meant to him, and his response was "it means I'm old". 

I agree that the branding is off. But pure rock n roll (as in rock music one can dance to, with a partner) hasn't been fresh since the 60s really. I appreciate the celebration of rock music, but it's just one art form of many which inspires our lives.

You get what you pay for. If my competitors are charging less, they'll be earning a poverty salary. (I am friendly with my closest competitor, I know how much he charges). It's crowded at the bottom, but the cream always rises. I've worked so hard to improve my skills and the reward isn't there for doing so. 

Hoping it's just a rough patch. 

I'm trying to tap out of freelancing. After ten years in the industry, my skills are really good, and my day rate has to reflect that. 

I've had two months of being told that my quotes are outside of budgets. From everyone, startups to multimillion pound companies who count Jaguar and Unilever among clients. 

Everyone on every freelancing podcast ever says "charge your worth" and there are some who advocate for charging by value instead of time. (I.e. charging more for the same work). 

But nobody who enquires is buying. To solve this I need to reposition my business, but that requires my husband to edit my website.

I'm done. I'm so done.

@dontdamnmeuyi2015 Did you watch Tiger King? A personality like his is why I'd feel unsafe in the USA. Give a gun to anyone who has anger issues. They get trigger happy at a lake, or at animals. I bet there's one person on every street in the world who can't manage their anger well. Some throw stuff, some get abusive. Legalising weapons is permissive for violence.

I wasn't aware that there was a huge rift, however I expect that they invited Philip's few remaining blood relatives, because diplomacy comes first in their world. 

I happened to be at the Co-op shop at 3pm where there was a minute's silence. The tills were shut down and I just had to look for my Chipotle sauce without drawing any attention to myself.
