If you get married before making big money, that's understandable. If you get married AFTER making big money, you're fucked.

Mo Money Mo Problems. It's not going to hurt his reputation. We been knowing Axl was cray cray, but now he gotta pay pay.
Call Diddy!!!

The songs are joyless. Even if you force yourself to look at them through some kind of academic lens, as soon as you put on the new Rolling Stones song, you realize our boys are fucking up.
No groove, no riffs, no hooks. WTF.

I don't like when Duff talks feminism. He likes to re-contextualize GNR lyrics as 'progressive' when there are very clear examples of racism, misogyny, homophobia, etc. Who gives a fuck, but he should own it.
Talking about panic attacks and adopting shelter dogs and having it all documented in People Magazine... I don't know. He's older now, so maybe this is who he is, but it feels manipulative.

No photographer is going to renounce all credit in lieu of payment. How the fuck is she going to get her name out there??
"Great pic, Axl. Who took it?"
"Nobody."Yeah right.
Is it more believable that Kat wanted to remain an unnamed enigma in the shadows, or that she wanted her name credited on photos that were used?

Didn't they fuck over some videographers too? They hired a company to record a gig and didn't pay them. Does anyone remember that from a few years ago?

It's very unusual that somebody as high-profile as Axl doesn't have a proper manager. His choice, but it's still a weird one. Imagine if Meghan's family was managing Slash's career? Seems odd.

Justin's videos are fine. He's cool.
When Axl's at 100% he's the best. Duh. This is a strange time as his voice sounds dramatically different. He's still trying his hardest so props. HOWEVER these recent songs are fucking downers. All this pussy full of maggots daddy don't I'm sorry... holy fuck. I'm listening to the new Stones and Blink 182 and it's fun and energetic with innumerable hooks. New GNR not so much.

The General sounds like Marilyn Manson, which is fine but... ugh.
It's kind of crazy how Axl wanted to make an ACDC record a few years back. He seems determined to release the most joyless music with GNR.

It'll be COVID 19, 20 and 21 before they get around to it.

Even with the super steep and continued discounts....damn...that's just sad.
Another example of how tone deaf GNR and its managers are with respect to what the fans really want.
I think it's so lame. Three years into it and we don't even have an EP. They can't give us five songs?
But once the Axl/Slash album is released, the cat is out of the bag, so they're going to do whatever they can to get a Best Buy-like deal, where all of the money is paid up front.

How much did it sell?
They made 10,000 copies for worldwide release and (last I saw) haven't hit 4,000 sold yet.

GNR appears to be more of a Cirque Du Soleil thing now. One big travelling carnival that plays a specific, choreographed show. I think they like to field offers through the press. Slash saying, "We have music but we don't know how to release it," is a way to get industry people to make them an offer, whether it's for a movie soundtrack or whatever. Gotta figure they lost money on the AFD box set considering how little it sold, so they'll want as much cash as they can get up front for the Axl/Slash reunion album.

They are so worried about backlash from the PC police. One in a Million doesn't exist!!! Give it a rest, pussies. Your songs are too popular. Nobody cares that Axl was a racist or that every member in the band treated women like shit. We just want to hear you play Welcome to the Jungle and have a reason to party one more time. I'm NOT looking for a lesson on intersectional feminism. Just play the hits and maybe write a few new ones.

I don't doubt for a second that they are actively working on a new album. Shadow of Your Love is a complete re-recording. Axl's vocals too.

$13 a month to stream audio from one band, lol

GNR would have been waaaay bigger had Buckethead stood atop the piano with nunchucks in November Rain.
Even if you ignore the music -- Slash drew the fucking logo. He handled so much of the art in the early days. Take Slash away and you lose so much of the iconic band's image.- 2

Myles would kick Axl's ass if they both played an acoustic set. He's got the soft, pretty voice.
Axl (with rasp) sounds like a lion. His voice is way more commanding and distinct.

I'm sort of glad they don't have an album representative of every musical era, like Bon Jovi.
"This is our hair metal album, this is our grunge album, this is our pop album, this is our country album."
I hope Axl goes back to more riff-based songs with Slash and Duff. Write catchy music again!

None of my business, really....but for what it's worth, I can't believe a $6 million lump sum settlement plus $1.2 million per year for life isn't enough for Perla. Like wow.
Keeping up with the Joneses. LA is expensive.

The irony of it.... huh?
Until not so long ago, everybody was asking to themselves "Where's Axl?" and even the fans feared of having their show cancelled at every minute.
But Izzy and Adler are the unreliable ones
Axl knows that he himself is a pain in the ass. The guy's not a complete dope. But he's not going to work with people who make his life even more difficult. That's why he can work with Slash and Duff. They know how to run an organization and make Axl's life much easier.
-
They will never trust Izzy to complete a world tour. He bails on stuff like it's no big deal. Richard Fortus is there because he does a good job, but he also treats it like a job. He shows up and works. Nobody is ever asking, "Where's Richard?" That's why Axl likes him.
Also, Izzy signed away his percentage of the GNR partnership. That is worth major dough and he'll never get it back.- 1

Fucking COOL! I wish Izzy had stayed so involved. This is all him. Dude was crazy talented.

Appetite Five reunion setlist - What would you include?

If it was going to happen, it would have happened. Izzy won't come back unless they give him his %. He stays away out of spite, as a way of de-legitimizing the reunion.
The big crowds only care about Axl and Slash though.
