Axl has done wonderfully. It's so great to see him performing at this level again.

It won't be an A-list musician. This is the Angus n' Axl show.

"Not really welcome in the camp."
Good lord. Slash has worked with everybody, and they've all talked about his humility, professionalism and work ethic. The only people who seemed to have had this dark, ominous perception of him were the hired hands. They act as if he's an uncle who isn't allowed to come around the family because he molested one of the nephews. Such strange behavior.

He kept Pitman until literally Pitman decided to force himself out. If he hadn't rant all over the internet he Would still Be here.
Why would he call them a shitty nostalgia act if he were still part of the band? Slash and Duff are in charge of the band's sound. Axl said that himself. They work with the drummer. They decide the rhythms and tempos. It wasn't working with Pitman, so they fired him. That's when he started bitching on twitter. He was told to remove the Coachella announcement because they knew he wasn't going to be included.
Just my opinion.- 2

Who cares if they got back together for money? These 2016 performances have been spectacular, and there's obviously some level of friendship or else Axl would have vetoed Steven Adler and probably kept Chris Pitman. I feel like Slash and Duff made those two things happen, which we should all be thankful for. You can tell Axl also expressed his sadness over S+D not supporting him as a songwriter (waah) which is why Duff goes out of his way to bring up Chinese Democracy all the time. It's a way to build back trust and say, "We support you and want to record new music together."
I think it'll work out.- 3

Axl burns through cash. How many people are in his entourage? They're certainly not hanging out with him because he's a swell guy.

Team Brazil was included in that book as a gesture by Axl. There's no way he let them negotiate anything for this tour. We're talking about hundreds of millions of dollars. He has a mega attorney like Slash and Duff.

They should have been classy and offered him at least $100,000. Good vibes are important, and it would have made some 30th Anniversary stuff for Appetite possible.
-
Axl and Duff should have been upfront about it. They don't want him involved in decision-making and they don't want to pay him what he wants for guest spots. They gave a chicken-shit answer.

I still hope to see a few AFD line-up shows next year. Just them, no one else.

Honestly, I thought Axl would suck dick but he's really turned it around. I don't mind the clean voice anymore because its strong and he sounds very confident.

my guess - it's about money. I think Izzy deserves an equal share with Slash and Axl.
The worst thing Izzy did was leave the partnership, but I think they would have tried to force him out regardless. He became too antagonistic during UYI. Refusing to record overdubs, no showing, lifeless performances. Axl, Slash and Duff had their fair share of problems, but they could (and still can) come to an agreement as business partners, whereas Izzy was a pain in the ass. The question becomes, "Why have four people in charge of Guns N' Roses when we can have three?" Still wish he was there

He either wants a lot of money for guest appearances and they won't pay his price, or he wants to be a full time member and they don't think he's dependable. Richard keeps the job because he always shows up.

I just want to hear Slash.

Yeah, I don't like the harmonic shit Richard plays either, but I like that he's not getting lost in the shuffle. A more dynamic rhythm player is a good thing. He sounds different from Slash, but still great on KOHD.

The Appetite lineup will definitely do some shows next year.

How is this different than all the people who felt the need to chime in and say that the models probably weren't smart? Like we haven't heard that at least a thousand times either?
Did you even read the original post? Smart , mercenary models. Jesus Christ. Is it so inappropriate to laugh at the banality of someone attempting to turn this into a legitimate discussion.

The attitude you're exhibiting isn't making you sound as intelligent or funny as you seem to think. It's pretty much just desperate and sad.

What a pleasant person you are. Congrats on being a condescending prick.
And what you've done is indulged in a form of narcissism known as "image crafting," chiming in with an opinion we’ve heard at least a thousand times. Not all models are stupid. Great work, Social Justice Warrior!!! You're smart and you can say adult things!

I'm sure a guitar player with 30+ years experience has never spent a day or two fucking around with jazz scales. Can you walk and chew bubble-gum at the same time? Hard to imagine.

I was just arguing against the point that 'model=dumb'.
And what a GROUNDBREAKING feminist adult opinion you have! What's next? Refusing to adhere to the narrow parameters of gender pronouns? Continue to wow us with your insanely obvious points!
It's okay to laugh at a few dumb bimbos. They're at a fucking Guns N' Roses party. It's not exactly a Richard Dawkins conference. -

Why, because they're models?
I'm sure they wanted to ask Slash about Mixolydian scales and not just suck his cock because he's famous.

Rich people who probably haven't even listened to a full album.

Axl: "You're playing Chinese Democracy songs and that's it!!!"
Slash: "Yes, Sir."
Maybe the three of them are happy to be playing together again and simply want each other to be as comfortable as possible. Shocking!- 5

I think Tommy should stop talking about it at this point. Time to move on. The real show is back.
