Evidently I can't respond to someone mocking my post, so instead of referring to him as fat fuck I will say I hope Axl performs well considering he is the illustrious founding member of Guns N' Roses.
Wasn't mocking your post. I genuinely cringed, when I read your attempt to be funny
Sorry, I'm still working on my stand up routine. I've got one where I say your father is a black guy.
Let me know when you figure that one out
I think you should be encased in concrete and thrown off a cliff.

No question Slash and Duff will rock the fuck out.
Mr. Founder better not flounder. -
Ugly too.

Wouldn't it sound weird and obnoxious if Tracii Guns went around telling people he was the co-founder of Guns N' Roses? That's why he doesn't do that. You're giving credit to somebody for placing a blank canvas on an easel just to spite the real painter on a bullshit technicality.
Today's fans are such losers.- 5

I don't think there's anything too kooky about it. Everybody knows Chinese Democracy was kind of a bust. You can't expect them to put that in the press release. Though "Former members" is kind of weird when you consider Axl, Slash and Duff are technically partners. Richard, Frank and whoever else are there because it's way more expensive to pay Izzy and Matt Sorum.

He's either pissed off that he didn't get to personally announce Coachella, or he's still in fat fuck mode and doesn't want to deal with the public scrutiny.
I'm thinking both. -
Cancelling at the last minute not only pisses off Kimmel, but it embarrasses Slash and Duff.
"All these managers, they all believe in one thing: sell a reunion tour and get their commission. It's just a phone call. It's a half a day's … work, or however long they want to keep the bidding war going. They get their commission and they don't care if it falls on its face." ― Axl (2011)
Pretty funny in hindsight. Everybody knows the only person capable of fucking this up is Axl. Steven Adler could be on stage at Coachella with a crack pipe and it would pale in comparison to whatever Axl is going to do to ruin this. -
It looks like a bunch of famous musicians and then a lot of random people.

I don't think it means anything. Looks like anybody can tag the photo.

Duff tagged Izzy and Steven in his Facebook post. Does it mean anything?

It has to be bad news, right? Why else would Fernando be involved in this announcement? If it were good news, it would be on Jimmy Kimmel in front of the world.

Kimmel was very good to him in their last interview. No way Axl fucks him. He'll be there.

He's going to announce the full Appetite line-up is playing at Coachella.

Axl won't go into great detail. They're going to keep this thing shrouded in mystery for as long as they can. Think about it like this: Aerosmith should be a stadium band, but they're always available. Always. You want to see Aerosmith live? Wait a month. They'll probably be in town. That's why they play amphitheaters and the occasional arena and nobody really cares. ACDC and The Rolling Stones, however, play stadiums and make $400 million a tour and it's a major event in every city they're in. Why? Because you only get to see them two or three times a decade. That's what they're going for.
I wouldn't be surprised if Izzy and Sorum were back. Can't see Steven participating in a full tour, but Coachella? Maybe. They want to frame this as a triumphant return. Steven could hurt them by bitching to the press, but he's been real quiet for a while. That means Slash has told him to keep his mouth shut.
We'll find out soon. -
You don't give away the reunion on live television for free. They won't be seen together until Coachella.

I don't see how it would work on screen. Buddy Holly died in a plane crash. Eazy-E died of AIDS. Kurt pulled the trigger. How does the GNR movie end? Axl and Slash become old and argumentative?
-
I really really hope Izzy's on board.
Adler is obviously out, but if Sorum isn't in, it's strictly a money thing. Cheaper to pay Frank, plain and simple. -
This would be the perfect Christmas present if Beta was signed to Cash Money Records.
-
Craziest thing he's ever done.
-
Gotta figure that "Stay of Execution" trademark plays into the reunion somehow. Maybe an album title, or name of the tour?
Fortus says that 2016 will be a big year for GN'R

It's a weird situation. No way Slash and Duff have joined Nu-Guns. This is the old Guns n' Roses (the partnership) getting back together and hiring guys from Nu-Guns to play with them. Richard, Frank, etc. are in the "band", but they don't make band decisions. I think.
