DirtyDeeds
This is so incredibly interesting. I love it when they separate out an instrument or the vocals. It all sounds so boring and/or bad and/or weird until everything is put together.
UseYourAppetite
That really shows how shitty a vocalist DLR really is. And damn is it fucking funny!
DirtyDeeds
That really shows how shitty a vocalist DLR really is. And damn is it fucking funny! No, pick any singer of any band and it will sound just as ridiculous. You cannot deny how awesome it sounds when added to the rest of the tracks of the song, though, and that's the ONLY thing that counts. Zint
How many times has this been posted now..Roth is a shitty singer???...I think not.Who's to say it's not a random throwaway track from half baked demo. When bands are working out songs they don't put 100% effort into each take. bluesy
Roth is one of the better vocalists in rock n' roll because he has a distinctive style. He's no technical prodigy, but you really don't need to be. He's got the attitude, the swagger, and the right set of plums! It's a calibre of unique frontman talent that is just so rare and incredibly impossible to find. Shitty vocalist, my ass. There are millions upon millions of "groomed" singers out there who all subscribe to the same generic conventions of pop/rock mediocrity and utterly drown in their lack of individuality. Once in a while, though, amidst the polluted oceans, the world may be lucky enough to find or acknowledge exceptional ability that is truly authentic. Roth has "it" and he certainly is no slouch in the singing department, either.

wasted
Crazy From The Heat by David Lee Roth is probably the best rock book I've read. If you like David even a little bit, this would be the best read of all time.I'd recount some of it but it's best if Dave tells 'em.
