I think Vedder is one of the greatest lyracists of recent time and to be honest i think far superior to axl lyrically. He's also a brilliant front man and the rest of the band too a great. I'm sure there must be a new album coming out this year. Pearl jam albums tend to come out every one or two years apart:Ten-1991Vs-1993Vitalogy-1994No code-1996Yield-1998Binaural-2000Riot act-2002so there has to be an album this year. Last year was taken up by the release of 'lost dogs' and their 'greatest hits' so this year i reckon around summer something should happen. Does anyone have any offical info about a new album they could give us?Anyway back to the band, the only thing i was different is the drummer. I like matt cameron, but i preffered Abbruzzese and i really loved jack irons. I think there's a direct corolation between the arrival of Cameron and pearl jams dip in form. Ofcourse some people absolutely love the recent album and my comments are only opinions and to be fair he probably isn't the real reason for the change in pj, that's probably just me, a fan trying to lok for a reason for the change in pj, but i just don't think riot act was that great, although i did really like binaul.
