Delete System32

...And wreck your computer :rofl-lol:.

For a way to get your computer running faster, go to Start : > Run: > Type in msconfig

Then just disable all those annoying start-up process's (except Anti-Virus). They aren't really necessary and just waste your CPU (Usage).

If you've never done it before, your computer probably losing at least 10% of it's speed. If your computer is a few years older, then it'll be a lot slower.

 No I'm not a cheap ass. I definatly do need a new system. I'm moving to a new city next month, once I get settled there I'll probably get a new one...

You don't need a whole new system. As others have suggested - just buy an external drive. Problem solved. :)

Well if he's content with a 500 celeron with 64 megs of ram, and a system that really cannot be upgraded significantly then yeah, stick with the old one. :shrugs:

I'll have a look Becket when the Family and I come over for dinner tonight.

holy crap becket, is your processor made out of BJT's

that shits ancient

If you want to get something for pretty much surfing the web just get an Acer. They are really cheap and not actually that bad (I'm using one atm)

I hope you purchased it cheap

I would already look at upgrading again to something with a faster CPU, more ram and larger HD

I think, for what I assume Becket is using his computer, he bought a just fine setup. Too many people seem to get way too powerful PCs for their use. You don't need the second latest graphic card, 4000mbs of RAM and 500gb hard drive just to casual web browsing and watching the occasional video.

But you do need liquid cooling and a quad core though.

Maybe throw in a core i7 cpu + board and a pair of GTS 295's running in SLI for good measure.

Your right. I don't download anything. Little bit of music sometimes, but that's it.

And TAY, I did get it cheap.

Kevin and HV, you guys are just confusing me.

With specs like that - only just.

Well compared to my old one, more than just.
