What you prefer?? Official Stuff or Original Bootlegs?

The title says all, I'm just curious what you like more in your collection, official stuff(singles, vinyls, etc) or original bootlegs(cds and dvds).

Depends on the band really. With Guns, I try to get all the bootlegs I can (That are listenable). Every show is unique, you don't feel like every show on a tour is the exact same.

My collection is mainly offical stuff. But that is for collecting purposes (obviously). If there are things I want to listen to then that's what I get boots for (cd's & DVD's). I have LOTS of bootleg DVD's but that has purely been for listening/watching reasons.

That said from a collecting perspective there are a number of items that are definitely boots or suspected boots that are still highly desirable and collectible.

all depends on quality...there are many GN'R boots that are better than the official Live 'Era album....

I love good bootlegs, but nothing beats official stuff. Yeah, because it's official, it's something the band put out.

i like to have boots [cds or dvds] of the shows i attend, to relive them and maybe remember things i forgot

I prefer bootlegs,

Guns n' roses (old) shows were unique and I really like to have them in silver format,

someone says they don't worth nothing becouse are not officials,

but this is not true becouse some of them are very hard to find while I can find and buy original stuff on ebay each day easly..

Offical but there is something said for a good bootleg. Too bad there aren't more good ones out there. Mostly a lot of crap in my book.

for me the problem is that official are the same things, music studio, with the only difference that one is a vinyl 7 ", other 12" and so on, and you spend too much money to have almost the same thing
