Axl Rose slams Azoff

You miss my point...If a band really wants to make big money they need to capture the U.S. Market and be able to fill arenas here. Axl did not start the tour here because he NuGnR does not have the fan base to sell out Arenas in the U.S. anymore.

Axl toured Asia and South America because he could sell out large venues in that part of the world but no country in the World is more lucrative for touring then the U.S.....more large venues and bands can charge more for tickets here then anywhere in the world...........

The money they made touring Asia and South America is peanuts compared to what they could make in the U.S. if they still had a fan base here........NuGnR will always be considered a second rate act as long as they can't draw here in the U.S......

No they don't, actually. I mean a US tour is great and all, but in reality bands make millions on world tours and maybe have 2 US dates total in the tour. If Axl were to tour the US again he could do NYC and LA, fill them both, and continue on. This is 12 million we're talking about here, and he never went to the US. Not peanuts, Slash back would not ensure Ohio Arena would be filled, and frankly the way to make more and not have to worry about it is by doing just what he did.

Here's another good example of a huge arena band making millions on a tour. (see movie "Flight 666") Note only 2 US dates.
