Guns N' Roses in Pakistan ??

I saw this a few days ago on twitter, but now with the article looks more credible. It seems Gn'R is rumoured to play this Coke Studio (Kind of TV Show in Pakistan). See for yourself:

That would be... unexpected. I'm not sure the climate in Pakistan right now is all that open to a band like GN'R.

On the other hand... have Guns considered playing Indonesia? That's one place they should certainly hit on the world tour. Deftones are playing it soon, as are Iron Maiden. It's had a decent concert scene for a while.

There were rumors last year about shows in Bangalore/Dimapur (India), but nothing happened. I think India and Indonesia will get Gn'R if they tour in 2011, just a bet.

As for the article, I realise you're only passing news on, but the link doesn't look particularly credible - would prefer we limited discussion until something with a bit more weight behind it comes along.
