Funkadelic
About the Boston thing: prolly cause he thought Axl has the Mickey thing going again, but I think it got pretty raspy - which is great. Btw I really like the way the band plays this song, especially the intro was great!
James Bond
He sings it mostly clean but the rasp DOES exist at some parts, so it's still there. That was pretty good overall. Hopefully it's back in full force soon.
loko
Axl's voice from Boston is fuckin great btw.
Funkadelic
Just listened to the Boston version. Sure his voice had power, but still to squeaky for me. I prefer this one.
Eu4ic
I dont think the OTGM Boston was all that great, aside from the band (part. Bucket) kicking ass. Axl's getting back into '10 shape now though, which is the best he's ever sounded, except maybe '93, imo
uzi your illusion
Christ the chick singing over his vocals is almost as bad as Raul from the Tokyo '09 bootleg. Anyone remember how infuriating that was? We get the first taste of Axl's vocals in a few years and this dude is singing over every line at the top of his lungs...and he sounded awful. Anyways, the last verse sounded great, this is how I would love to hear his voice sound all the time!

iftheworld
I'm not going to listen on account of the annoying Mexican singing over Axl. I mean, why even record? You might as well stay home and record yourself. Edited October 20, 2011 by iftheworld
GnR Chris
Did they omit something else in the setlist to add this song? Never been a huge fan of it.I did see the two instances they played it recently that they seemed to be extended sets so I assume no other staple song was omitted. TiedHands
There's something about seeing GNR play this live at a show. The energy during the song is off the charts. It's should def be a staple.
uzi your illusion
LOL I forgot about the "ass in the air" line, it was almost endearing because on the one hand the guys a prick for singing over the vocals. And on the other he's a die hard so he almost gets a pass. Raul for MOD !!! Edited October 20, 2011 by uzi your illusion
