Kapitch_77
Slash's Snakepit concerts are rare on videos. For those who might be interested here's one: St-Louis in 2000.

gunsfanoldie
They opened for AC/DC? That's pretty cool.Everytime I remember they did that, I always think what a fucking sick concert that must have been. Slash's Snakepit essentially just playing Ain't Life Grand for 40 minutes, then an AC/DC concert? Sounds like heaven.
moreblack
Sadly he got his heart problems around that time, so they had to pull out of the tour not long after this show.

I love this version of Snakepit! Rod maybe annoying live at times, but he really gave a show. It's still one of the best shows I ever been to. Nosaj Thing
Rod is an awesome singer but a better frontman. He and Slash made a good team.

Nobody
Various reasons . Slash had his heart issues around then, he was drinking extremely heavily after he left Guns (even more than normal compared to him). Plus Rod had a heroin problem at the time . In his book he also said he was being taken advantage of by Jerry Heller (former N.W.A manager) at the time, who was also his manager after leaving Guns. Seems like it was a bunch of factors that contributed to this lineup not working for long.
