Val22
I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. John Carpenter at a Horror festival about 5 years or so ago.He came walking in eating a red delicious apple. He was so cool.My favorite all time Carpenter movies are Halloween and The Fog.I just love the Fog. I can watch that movie over and over again and still enjoy every minute of it.I also love Big Trouble in Little China. That movie is so damn cool. The last movie he directed was The Ward. I rented it. It wasn't bad, but his earlier movies were awesome! One of the best horror/suspense directors of all time.Prince of DarknessIt's got Alice Cooper in it...nuff said. Scream Factory is releasing it on blu-ray.In fact, Scream Factory is releasing a lot of Carpenter flicks on blu.I saw Prince of Darkness. Alice Cooper was one of the crazy homeless people. He was so freaky looking. this movie freaks me out with the whole devil coming out of the mirror thing. I think Carpenter should have made a sequel to it.Also, love Escape from New York.. I love the whole concept of making one state a prison and letting the inmates do their own thing! So classic.
