recklessroad
I don't know. I have never seen it before. It could be a bootleg but from an old gig. Also there are some real shirts that I haven't seen.
highvoltage
Moved this since it's the place you're sure to get an answer. I've seen someone ask about that shirt before...
wfuckinga
Thank you Marc. And thanks HV, I thought Marc would be the one to know since it looks like an older GNR shirt. Axl wears one in the Donnington video (Izzy's "no" moment). If there's a thread about this shirt already, my bad.
jman2000
It's a bootleg, but an old rare one.
troccoli
What Donington video? What is Izzy's no moment? Please excuse my ignorance.
Dariablue
It's the video where Axl is being interviewed about Iron Maiden and Izzy is trying to say something and Axl kind of keeps talking. The interviewer asks Izzy if he was going to say something and he just says "no".
troccoli
The shirt the OP is asking about is NOT the shirt Axl is wearing in that video.
wfuckinga
Yeah I was saying it looks kinda like it. The one he's wearing is one like the one Demi Lovoto wore onstage recently, I know that. I just didn't know if this was another style of that shirt or if it was a bootleg
dalsh327
Check the middle t-shirt out. Ever seen that before?
jman2000
Check the middle t-shirt out. Ever seen that before? Says Welcome to the Jungle. It's also a bootleg if i'm correct. Odd that he'd be wearing that around them
wfuckinga
No that's a legit shirt. Adrianna Smith wore one as well, there's a picture of her with it on in Marc's book I think. She said it was stolen.

troccoli
Jman - you seriously need to take a long, hard look at my site man. http://www.troccolitm.com/ShirtRareAsFuck.htmlNeed to correct some info there - it's not the 1st GNR shirt as it turns out, but it damn near is, and extremely rare. jman2000
Haha I was just on it last night troccoli checking out the clothing! Not sure how the fuck I missed it. But then again, I could fully look through your site one day, do it again the next and see something I thought I didn't see before. You have too many items! troccoli
lol jman. Very true though. Sometimes even I forget what I have - one way in which I end up with duplicates. For everyone here - anyone know who the guy wearing that shirt is???
wfuckinga
Isn't he some English photographer? I think I've seen him in some pictures with Motley Crue back in the day. I could be wrong though
troccoli
Could be. Not sure
Nobody
I'm pretty positive that's Ross Halfin, early GNR photographer. He took a lot of (now) famous pictures of GNR early in their career. I believe he started shooting them during their first UK trip at the Marquee and then continued to do so for years after.
Nobody
Looks like I was wrong about the Marquee, I found this quote from Ross Halfin...never did them live, I was too lazy. I remember the first time I shot them they came in with an entourage of fifty hangers-on. It was a bit like the Rolling Stones, which I suppose they were. A photo from that session is on the cover of Greatest Hits. Still friendly with all of them except Axl..He did take one of the most famous/recognizable GNR pictures ever though.https://www.morrisonhotelgallery.com/photo/default.aspx?photographID=10718 Edited November 11, 2013 by Nobody

ThinkAboutYou
I want to buy a signed picture http://upnorthmemorabilia.com, do you know is it trustworthy site or not? or can you advise something like that? I would stay clear of shops like that as I think they look as if they are selling fakes Edited December 24, 2013 by ThinkAboutYou
