Amir
On the subject of stand-ups, Dave Chappelle is/was rather amazing.Mitch Hedberg was one of the greatsYes, and yes. You can listen to all of Hedberg's officially released albums on Spotify (think there were only 3?).I remember loving Eddie Murphy's Raw when I was 13, tried watching it again recently... Not so much.I tried watching a bit of Dice just because a few comedians I like (Joe Rogan, Bill Burr) and Axl liked him... He's one of the few comedians I would say I find offensive and unfunny. I usually laugh at anything but he had none of the nuance or craft that Louis CK or even Stanhope have. Really, horribly dated, he came across to me as the American equivalent of Roy 'Chubby' Brown.Remember loving Carlin's "Use your own words" bit as a kid.Dad got me into Bob Newhart, as well. Remember buying a copy of his book for my dad, flicked through it and found a bit about the UYIs: up until they came out, Newhart held the record for 2 albums at number one and two.
