Subtle Signs
No. The shows I saw in 2002 and 2006 were great but I never fooled myself into thinking I was seeing the real deal. By the time I saw Gn'R live in 92 many have said that wasn't even the real deal. At this point 2/5ths with Duff or Izzy is about as good as it gets. NewporTimbo
Every GNR show I have been to has blown me away... I always find myself telling whoever is with me (wife or a buddy) "they are on fire tonight". I say that every show because they always rock it. There is something so cool when you first see Axl (maybe I'll start a thread about this), he is larger than life and somehow is the coolest mother fucker on earth. The band is always so tight, they are amazing to hear. When you hear songs you have been in love with played perfect at a huge venue, it's awesome.Seeing GNR has always been the best show I have ever seen, until the next one. Every moment feels that way. Until I come to this message board ?

NewporTimbo
In the case of it being NuGNR, Los Angeles 2006 and nothing comes close. LA 2006 is great but so is Hammerstein: For what it is worth, this should be the next pinned live show of the week!
robin2002
The only time I watch and think that is when I watch the old band (86-93). There have been some good moments post 2001, but the correct answer to your question is no.
