The team disputes the claims, saying the plaintiff was fired due to poor performance. “On Aug. 26, 2016, Drake and Future (both of whom are black) performed at Philips Arena. Both Drake and Future asked to bypass metal detectors but their requests were denied. One week later at the AC/DC concert at Philips Arena, Axl Rose and Brian Wilson (both of whom are white) requested to bypass metal detectors. BlueJean Baby Posted July 8, 2017 Share Posted July 8, 2017 This was on our local news, I live in Atlanta. I get the impression the guy was severely butt hurt over being fired, so he started crying racism. It will most likely get thrown out of court. On a side note, I have been to a lot of events there back when it was called the Omni, before Ted Turner sold it and it was changed to Phillips arena.
