DirtyDeeds
I just got back from an art house theater showing the biographical documentary on Mr. Rogers, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” I’ve seen a couple documentaries on Fred Rogers, but I thought this one was the best. It was very refreshing to have seen about a very caring and calm soul, which stands in such stark contrast to what we are exposed to all the time. I haven’t seen Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood since I was 5 or 6, but I was really surprised how all the sights and sounds of his show came flooding back to memory. A beautiful person and a beautiful documentary. Edited June 25, 2018 by DirtyDeeds
Gibson87
Mr. Rogers was a great person. I remember watching his show as a little kid around 2000/2001
RussTCB
I really want to see this. I watched him growing up of course but I really don't know that much about him.
luciusfunk
I never watched his show growing up. It never caught my interest. Whenever he was on, I'd flip the channel. The documentary does look interesting, though. From all I've read and seen recently, he was a great man. I love the video where he appears before congress regarding funding public television and he completely changed their minds.
