RussTCB
Has anyone else heard this amazing album?? For those not familiar, Sturgill is (was, I guess?) a country artist. His first two albums were straight, old school county. Like Haggard, Cash style country. Then his third, stunningly good album (A Sailors Guide To Earth) was still country but with a lot of soul and R&B mixed in. His fourth album (Sound & Fury) was released this past Friday and its stunningly good. He put out an unexpected, angry, dirty, rock album. There's also a companion film for the album on Netflix, so it's a very ambitious porject. In any case, I wanted to see if anyone else is listening to this too. If you haven't heard it, check it out and let me know what you think!
Stiff Competition
I bought it. It’s pretty good. i’d never listened to him before this aside from his “the dead don’t die” theme song,

You should check out his last record, A Sailors Guide To Earth. It's a totally different vibe but I love it.
