you know what...led zeppelin is a classic band and influenced GNR greatly, sales wise they sold a gagillion albums however i believe GNR was a better band, but owed that to led zeppelin greatly

Of course we are all GNR fans, but I'm a Zeppelin fan as well. And I think Zeppelin is better. I know everyone is gonna hate me, but Plant is better than Axl, Page is better than Slash. I just like em more.

All I'm gonna say is that it's brave to make this poll in a GNR fan forum where everybody's gonna pick GNR.

But if you made this poll in a general rock, or hard rock forum the results would go

80% Led Zeppelin.

Well, I don't think they are. To me, there is Guns N' Roses, and then the other amazing bands. Maybe Page is a better guitarist, but I still thinks Slash's image and performance on stage makes him my all time favorite. Maybe some think Plant is a better vocalist than Axl, but I do not, Axl has an amazing unique voice. The whole appearance of GnR and Axl's amazing voice, is not to be replaced...

Led Zeppelin were better musicians, but they lack the attitude and emotion that Guns N' Roses exudes themselves and conjures up from everyone else. As a matter of fact, Zeppelin does not even come close in that department, IMO.

Also, Axl is a much better frontman than Plant, I don't care what anyone says.
