johnezz
RITCHIE BLACKMORE!!Goddamn he's so fucken underrated, he was the first guitar Virtuoso and pioneered Shredding before anyone else. Not only could he rip up the fretboard, he could also play very soulful and beautiful pieces. And not only could be play fucken awesome solos, but he is the greatest Riff creator of all time.He would improvise whole solos live and jam with Jon Lord live, and his work is Rainbow is just as good, if not even better. He also brought in some new techniques, like Scalloping the fretboard. He's easily the best guitarist of the 70's, Page aint got shit on him. Appetite18
Every guitarist in Skynyrd is underrated. I agree with alot of these choices but I would add Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains. He wouldn't be in the top 10 guitar players of all time but he is still awesome. David Gilmour of Pink Floyd is seriously underrated too. His playing has a lot of feeling in it. I'm not sure if I he would qualify but Id say Tony Iommi too. Same with Dimebag Darrell of Pantera. Iron Maiden's Guitarists are awesome too. Marty Friedman is also unbelievable but I think he does get a lot of attention. I don't know hes awesome anyway you think about it.
