madison Posted February 20, 2006 Share Posted February 20, 2006 Merck just confirmed to me that GNR is indeed booked to play NovaRock.EDIT: Merck would not confirm rumors of RIR.When I asked how many other festivals the band has been booked to play and if a full-blown tour had been booked, he would only say "You will see more if we announce more." So, it sounds like a lot of dates are possibly being booked - otherwise, he would have just said 'no.' I'm guessing he wants to make a formal announcement unveiling the album release and tour plans in one shot. Just a guess.2nd EDIT: Merck has now confirmed GNR is booked to play RIR.
