Tried uninstalling things enmasse?ive uninstalled every big program i havethe biggest program i have now is and update for my ipod the biggest useage of space i can find is my gnr folder.. but i put all my big shows on my ipod and it didnt make that much of a difference All that animal porn, eh JDRM? no.. The Sandman Posted April 20, 2006 Share Posted April 20, 2006 If I were you, I would get AdAware from Lavasoft, check for all Spyware and Adware - clear it all out. Then, do virus check's. The sweep again. Finally, get the Microsoft one, and then use that as well. Removing MSN Messenger, Screensavers, Desktop Backgrounds etc. should also free up more space. JDRM Posted April 20, 2006 Author Share Posted April 20, 2006 i think its safe to say i havent got any viruses, adwear, spywear or any other wear you can think of.. i hva every anti-vi program on the face of this earth.... i do microsof anit vi scans all the time ect...however.. my account on my pcdid become corrupt a few months ago and i had to make a new one and transfer all my files ect... could my old profile be taking up this space?
