Ridin' the Nightrain Posted September 24, 2006 Share Posted September 24, 2006 (edited) axl should be thinking of releasing this for dvdnah, the filming is horrid. it sounds fine, but the filming is just bad.this concert has shown me ron thal is useless. seems like a nice guy, but gnr would be better off with just finck and fortus. they have more stage presence and their style fits better. plus they take more leads anyways. finck and fortus sharing lead and rhythm would work way better, them and axl are the only ones with any stage presence. Ron is better than Fortus and Finck combined technically, and his stage presence is amazing. Just listen how he improved KOHD. The band needs him. The band needs him.technicality isnt always the most important thing. its style. ron sounds like a boring machine.i personally dont like shred lead during a ballad though. the band does not need him, as far as i'm concerned until a cd is released, they are a cover band. ron is useless. he just runs around the stage looking goofy, then throws in a very out of place shred lead.
