So not one single other person thinks that Leonard Cohen or Tom Waits have written even one love song worth mentioning? You have no idea what you're missing out on. -_-

If you haven't watched the video of the Khaled song and you know even a word or two of French, you're not only missing out on something, you're being a fool.

I downloaded it eons ago, when my curiosity got the better of me after you posted the lyrics in some thread in Anything Goes. But I don't know how you can expect people who aren't fluent in French to appreciate it as much as you do  , especially after Outlandish made us all associate it with that atrocity of theirs.

God, Outlandish suck so much.

It sucks that the Islamic extremists support them. We could use an assasination here.

It's an atrocity that they made it so bad. In any case the lyrics are entirely different from the Khaled version. But how can you not appreciate the melody and the instrumentalism? And how can you not appreciate Khaled's voice?:wub:

Tom Waits has some great love songs. I Hope That I Don't Fall In Love With You is one I listen to a lot.

Amazing song.

One I forgot in my post was "Hand In Hand" by Dire Straits. Shame 99% of the world doesn't know it.

I'm sick and tired of all the praise Dire Straits get. All they ever did was copy J.J. Cale.
