Mike Myers to play Keith Moon in new movie biopic

[Estranged Reality]

I'm not sure if this has been discussed but there's a film in production right now and Mike Myers is the star of it. It's a movie biopic about WHO drummer Keith Moon, and Myers is playing him. It's NOT a comedy, it is going to be a drama. It will be Mike's first truly serious role in a film. (At least as a lead, anyway.)

I hope he loses some weight. I mean, I can see him playing Keith Moon in the late 70's when Moon was bloated, but Keith was not always a fat drunk. He used to be a skinny drunk, if you know what I mean.

I always associated mike myers with the Wayne's world type persona.

As far as I know this would be his first dramatic role-I'm pretty skeptical but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Myers played the lead in "Studio 54" and he was very good. he'll do a good job on this.

after reading an EXTREMELY long bio on moon, i think meyers is an excellent choice. this movie should rock.
