Chinese Democracy not out next week. World remains stony-faced.

Artists: Guns N Roses

The long-awaited (or not, as we all stopped caring a long time ago) new album from Guns N' Roses, Chinese Democracy, will not be released next week.

A release date of November 21 had been rumoured - we reported it here, no less - but the band's label Universal is yet to receive any material at all. Which suggests said record isn't, y'know, finished.

Expect it to hit stores sometime in the summer of 2009.

In related news, a GN'R DVD, Live In Chicago, is to be released on February 5. It is, unsurprisingly, footage of a gig in Chicago. Expect to hear and see the likes of 'Mr Brownstone' and 'It's So Easy' performed.

Care?

Yo man, you heard it straight here from my man Axl Rose. Big up yourself. Respek.
