Hell, I don’t even care anymore, and I was one of the biggest CD era fans there were. Look at my username.

I've tried that route, but every now and then, the thought that there's music out there crosses my mind. Whenever I hear that Silkworms clip, I wanna hear more... I hope one day we get to hear the track.

  2. I would love to hear Silkworms, but unfortunately I don't see it getting released. The people that have that song that we know, don't seem to want to leak it.

The people we don't know that might have it, probably are not on the boards anymore.

I don't see that song leaking or coming out Officially at least for the next 10 years.

Officially the song is probably buried, and I can't see anyone wanting to leak it.

There are other songs out there according to various die hard fans, but for how long have we been hearing this? since 2005 maybe? A selected few had the songs since 2000... It's been 18 years...Enough said.

Going to "The Garden" is people taking drugs, or even people who already are dead from it. That's how I always heard it. The entire song is one of my favourites. The intro riff has something beautiful about it yet something is "shady" about it, like it's luring you into something great but you can tell somethings not quite right. And then Slashs solo is the descent into madness where the beautiful illusion explodes and you realize you're in hell.

All about drugs dude. Being addicted and how it fucks with your perception.

Thank You guys for such an amazing description!

  4. Can I post a constructive critic here? Please don't take this the wrong way.

I wasn't here for the "chat" but I think you guys should work on your questions, and focus on other things.

I can't believe there's so many people making questions about a Bootleg from 93 that we already got, or a boxset that will answer all of our questions on the 29th June. Who cares?!? We got that already! The bootleg is out there, the Box will be out within a month...We will get everything answered by itself.

Fernando suggested to clarify about being accused of leaking CD and stuff like that... That's the melting pot...Let the man speak about that! Let the man speak about what's unreleased. What's to come. See if he can estimate a time frame as well for future releases.

    My two cents.

He can reach the same notes and stuff, but the tone of his voice has changed, its obviously a recording from the 80s.

No it's not! it's new vocals! It's funny how people say he's at his best when he's with ac/dc and then they say he's different with GNR. That's called fiction!

His vocals are different on this version. More rasp and a bit faster as well.

  6. I would pay for a streaming service, if it would include more than just pro-shot shows of the band...I mean how much shows with almost the same setlist every night can you watch?!?

If they put in the vault with the unreleased songs from all eras, I'm in! I would even pay 40$ a month...but that could mean they would stop releasing cds...

  7. I know that curiosity is bigger than quality, and that fans are starving for new songs, but the less we hype those cd era songs, the better.

Those songs are all hype, and that hype is created by us, the fanbase! We have put those songs on a pedestal for years, and have been mocked around by just about everyone because of it, including the band members themselves. We have seen several times, even when Chinese Democracy was released, that like the Motorhead song states... The Chase is better than the catch! That line couldn't fit any better in this case!

We have a reunited band with Appetite on the rocks and the nightrain is finally moving. Let's focus on that and bury that whole Chinese Democracy era for good! It's not like we can look back and say it was a masterpiece of an era anyways...It was a waste of time really.

  8. This is the frontman that Adler was talking about?? he sucks live lol

Geez I love Steven but I don't get why he's doing Adler's Appetite again and not playing with the band Adler :( Jacob was such a good singer and had stage presence and also they weren't a lame GNR cover band. They actually had a good album and music video. They could have still played appetite from beginning to end with Adler but also thrown in a few originals. My guess is Jacob and the guys didn't want to do it? It's a shame because Adler's Appetite just doesn't seem like a band that will ever release anything or make any waves whatsoever besides being a bad gnr cover band because none of the players have any presence besides Steven. Like literally none.

The first guy was good too! The one that sang "Alive"

the more i learn about the toys 'r' us box the more disappointed i get. what a HUGE wasted opportunity. not that i think appetite needs any remastering but i had a bit of expectation for the remaster - like "is it possible that it can sound even better? -- but after reading this i dont think i have any expectations left. sound city demos better sound fantastic because it seems there is nothing really worth paying attention to on the toy box other than those! my faith is on NEW WORK TUNE. i believe it is PURE GOLD

New Work Tune is NightCrawler... I read it somewhere.

Who re-did the guitar parts since Slash's girlfriend said that he didn't? Buckethead?

Why does everyone refuse to believe that it is a reprocessed/remastered version of an old demo? Don't you think if any of it was new that they would promote that to sell more downloads/drive more views?

Axl's voice sounds basically the same as the old Hollywood Rose demos. The "female" backing vocals sound just like Duff on WTTJ.

Axl's vocals don't sound the same, and it wouldn't be much time consuming to lay vocals just for one track. Especially when it was an already existing song.

If you listen to the Hollywood Rose demo and the new track, you will notice the differences.

I don't believe in what Meegan just said to be honest.

Oh and they are promoting it!  Hello ?!?!? Lyric Video, Single of the whole Boxset (even though this is their greatest album and feature)...
