That solo could easily be in a new GnR song. He still has it and that one sounds great. btw his album, this, Duff going on tour, looks like another long stretch of nothing from them as a band

So does he please the few who cared or the millions that wanted a re-union. Pretty easy choice to me as no one was really digging NU GnR. Its just facts, look at the concert ticket sales comparing NU and real gnr

Those are my 2 favorites out of everything ive heard. Sounds like classic Axl around the 2:40ish mark in Monsters to me as well

I still listen. Just got my Japanese CD as well. Absurd is embarrassing to me as an older GnR fan. IMO monsters is the best of what hasn't been officially released followed by AS. Looking forward to what comes this year

but BA is a way better song, and thats what is important

you actually said it better than me. I guess being old enough to witness them on top, and seeing all these other younger and older (stones, RHCP, green day) for example keep releasing CDs that are produced correctly, is disheartening as a GnR fan. Yes, factually, they are releasing a few songs, and I dont mind them.

yea, you can tell he knows nothing about her. There was a time where GnR could have been the biggest thing for years, they couldn't figure it out. She has, and for some reason, people cant take it. Its odd

The problem is, it's us "parents" that grew up with this band when they were huge. This song wouldn't have been that good then, and is just ok now.

Its just another thing they didnt get right/ Its been such a hyped song, and its just ok. Personally, Monsters is a way better song and he sounds much better singing it. Both leaked on same day, and we get the lesser song

but music is subjective, and i think it is. So neither of us are right or wrong
