Probably should have released Monsters as the B side of perhaps.  Its a much better song IMO and it jams for a min from the 2:50ish mark.  Sounds more like a gnr song

Honestly what I can say for me now, this song is so far out musically and thematically, it's really no surprise it doesn't appeal to a large part of GNRs fanbase. The section of the fanbase that appreciates a deep cut dark song like Coma must already be like only half of them, and this song is even a step darker than that. It would definitely not get the flack like it is currently getting exposed as a standalone song, if it was where it should belong and have been released and placed, track 7-8 of 10 on an album, surrounded by more accessible tracks.

I think it makes sense to say you'd listen to it for the same reason you'd go see a horror film. It's not exactly a "fun" time, yet we do it to feel certain emotions, because we just want to. This is Axl's pain as a child set to music, it is supposed to sound somewhat ugly, and that's where a lot of people check out.

Please dont put Coma and this song is the same sentence.  One is a masterpiece that almost every GnR fan likes, and the other, well......

The fact is, he sounds way better than axl today and the song will be more popular.  Funny, everyone on here complaining about how bad the General is and wanting them to make new music that "sounds like Gnr" dis bands that actually make music that sound like who they are.

These "new" songs are just odd all around.  Listen to Sebastian Bachs NEW song.  Besides the fact that he still sounds really good, the overall sound is also really good.  Why can't this band just release something on that level?  A comment said, "I heard the new GnR and was filling bummed, then I heard this" Kind of my feelings as well.

I just played monster through my 80s system with the big speakers.  This is a GREAT song.  He sounds great, the guitar work is awesome.  Best in a VERY long time

Monsters is legit.  This should be released properly and played on radio etc.  Best one in a long time

Pathetic!  I ordered this and a Taylor Swift album for my daughter around the same time with the same release date.  TS album has already shipped and should be here tomorrow.  These idiots can't release 1 "old" song.  If TS could not get her fans the album they pre-ordered, and announcement with exactly why and what the plans are would have been made immediately.   These fools can't even be bothered to give us one the lame excuses.  At least tell me "plans changed" or "due to uncontrolled circumstances" or "legal issues".  They won't because there is no reason.
