Didn't Ray Lewis allegedly murder someone?
Yes. He ended up getting an obstruction of justice charge, probation. 2 people were stabbed to death, allegedly by Lewis and his friends. But they couldn't prove it in a court of law. Couldn't find the murder weapon(knife).

Wish I could see the game at Baltimore today. No fans. Will there be a pa announcer, will they play the intro music for the home team batters, will there be an organist? I hope someone from Baltimore hits 2 dingers and then comes out for a curtain call to an empty stadium.

Wainright likely done for the year, achilles. Cards are in trouble.

Great win for the Blues last night. 6-1 over Minnesota. Did not see that coming. Hopefully they've found their game. This looks like its going 7 games.

The Blues came back to life on Saturday vs the Wild. Hat Trick by Tarasenko. Now its the best of 5.
As a Hawks fan, the next round scares me. Either the Blues or the Wild would be worthy adversaries, assuming we make it through. Don't want to play the Blues' offense, don't want to play the Wild's D/goalie setup. Looking forward to a great series regardless, but not too optimistic about the outcome...
The Blues have a 47 year history of tanking in the playoffs. Wouldn't be surprised if it continues. I hope I'm wrong of course.....

I don't like interleague play. Like Apollo said, it was kind of cool at first, maybe a few weeks out of the year. But now it's all the time. And being a National League fan my whole life, I hate the DH. And now it seems like the NL is gonna cave in and have the DH. Ugghhh. Babe Ruth didn't need no DH, and he played in the AL.

Wisconsin by 2 over the University of New Jersey. My prediction.
Lets go BIG TEN.(actually Big 14).

Really good documentary. I wanted more but it probably would have to be 5 hours long. Hard to believe people buy into this "church". The ex-members interviewed said they were embarrassed they were ever a part of it.

Do we know who the opening act is?

Lot of talk among the so-called experts on ESPN about the level of play in NCAA basketball has gone down hill. These experts want it to be more like the NBA. I guess they want more scoring.
Then this weekend we had some great games. Oh well, what do you guys think? Should there be some rule changes in College hoops or should it stay the same. Personally, I'm not a fan of the NBA so whenever people want to make it like the NBA I get a little nervous. I don't like the one and done. I don't mind having the 3 point line moved back a bit. Don't want the shot clock moved down to 24 seconds.
Your thoughts.

Glad to see that Van Halen will be on Jimmy Kimmel and Ellen. Hopefully there will be an interview with the band. Should be interesting since Dave loves the spotlight.

I remember the PMRC days as well. Tipper Gore and others wanted to censor rock music. Then Dee Snyder came on, with his long hair and rock garb, and talked intelligently. They weren't expecting that. Also, Frank Zappa and John Denver(yes John Denver) spoke as well. In the end all that happened was warning labels on rock music that had curse words, which only increased sales.

Well my bracket looks bad already. 8 wins yesterday. Had VCU going to the elite 8, losing to Wisconsin.
Got Wisconsin winning it all.

I hate to agree with O'Rielly. But I have to admit he's right on this.

Selection Sunday coming up this weekend. Lets talk about the tournament.
Besides Kentucky, what other teams do you think will make a run?

Glad St.Louis got rid of Sam Bradford. He wasn't good when he was healthy and he made too much money. Now we can spend some money on free agents. This was a steal for the Rams. Even though they will move to LA next year and St. Louis will be without an NFL team. At least we'll have one more year of football in St. Louis.

Thanks for posting. And I thought "The Rocker" was hilarious.

This show just brings back good memories from that time. First heard Appetite Nov. 1987. Was hooked right away. Then they just got bigger and bigger as the months went on. Finally saw them in Aug. 1988 opening for Aerosmith. Incredible show. By then they were playing really well, in my opinion.
Yes, I agree the Ritz show was kind of sloppy, but I think it showed that there was more to come from these guys.

Anybody remember the show "In Search of". Nimoy was the narrator, the looked for Noah's Ark, Bigfoot, Fountain of youth, etc...
Pretty good show in the 70's. RIP.

He's lucky she didn't break her neck on the drum riser.

GnRStar,
1st concert I saw was Van Halen in 1984. Then saw them a bunch of times with Sammy Hagar. Last show I saw was 2008. Dave was back, but Mike was gone.

I don't think Ed has anything left in the tank. The last album was re-worked demo's mostly. And I doubt he will get in a room with Dave to write new stuff. They never liked each other. So a live album, which will be 'fixed up' in the studio? Its a shame. And I'm a huge Van Halen fan, for the record.

Yes, Seattle won the coin toss and deferred. Anyway, it was a great game, went down to the wire. Blowouts suck. Even though I hate New England, I'm happy for Butler. He made a hell of a play.

Cardinals sweep the Pirates. 12 games over .500. Not bad since Wainright is out for the year. 4 and 1/2 games up on the Cubbies with a series starting tonight. Offense is weak, but the pitching has been outstanding.
