I don't know... after four years I still can't put my finger on that record. Sometimes I think it's the best record ever made, sometimes it feels like an awful mess of cut-&-paste songs. But it does have that "sad, yesterday's gone" -type of feeling attached to it.

I always forget that he's even in the band. Guess, he doesn't have that much charisma. Or he is outshined by the other guys. I don't know.

He's drumming is solid, though!

Myles is a better singer but Weiland's work in VR surpasses Myles' w/ Slash by a long shot.

I actually like music from every era of rock. From the 70s to 2000. I LOVE Aerosmith and obviously Guns. From the 90s, I dig grunge a bit and of course NIN. I especially love good nu-metal bands such as Korn, Deftones and System of A Down. From the 21st century era bands, I love Devildriver. If it's good, it's good. Every decade has been more or less good for rock fans.

Good interview. Cool to get a little insight on how Axl sees how things went down in the past. I think his truth is as valid as Slash's and Duff's. Guess the real truth lies somewhere in the middle. Also, nice to see him talk about new music.

That was a nice interview. When interviewed, Axl always seems like a super nice guy. He's mellow and his normal, talking voice is warm and almost soothing. Cool that the audience got free burgers (and tickets).

It's so weird that you refer Joe Perry as "the guitarist" and you have to you have to specify that Steven Tyler is the lead singer of Aerosmith . I'm not dissing you or trying to be disrespectful. But, as a life-long Aerosmith-fan, it just sounds weird . Cause they're frigging Joe Perry and Steven Tyler!
