Same story since the last 20 years. The earliest possible scenario is christmas 2019. Maybe the year after. 

Been a member since 2005. Lost interest in speculation CD in 2009. Lost interest in speculation 2010.

Losing interest in GnR as we speak. Concerts are ok, but everything else is a total waste of time.

If Axl was in great shape, he would improve a lot. 

But he is doing okay for the most parts as it is.

So fine and Breakdown would be awesome. So fine is signature Duff to me.

The most surprising thing to me is that this huge advertisement effort came out of the blue. No leaked info, no insiders etc.

After 36 years on planet earth, I have come to the following conclusion:

There's absolutely no point in discussing with people who hold polar opposite views. It's a waste of time for both parties.

People can say whatever they want, but the fact is that musicians have two jobs:

Concerts and recording. 

Axl pretending to be this very political democrat of late, should realize that there are bigger worries in this world, than giving the fans something to listen to, even if it hasnt been mixed and masteren 1000 times back and forward.

I have absolutely zero sympathy for any of his excuses, and none of your fanboys' either.

Axl came on here in 08 and said the next album would drop 2010. Same batch time, whatever.

What they "need" is one thing. What Axl feels comfortable with is a different thing.

I wouldn't mind his coming back. But only if he is an addition to the current line-up.

If DJ is coming back, it is most likely because of new material. He is good at the studio bit. Obviously they dont need him to play concerts, so I guess this rumour is actually a bit intriguing. 👍

I seriously want Axl to wear those kind of clothes on stage too. Much more unique and Axl-ish. 

I was in Stockholm. Just two, three songs were weak by Axl. He did good. 

He struggled most on Better, and CD songs. 

Overall the band wad fantastic. 3h 9min of magic. 

And to that stupid moron bashing Slash: 

Slash is the star of the current production. Very noticeable when you go to a concert. He is a fucking monster, and played three straight hours with total energy and commitment.

If you want to criticize Slash, I suggest you go wank off to some fucking shit metal band in stead. This is GnR. You clearly can't grasp the concept of that.

Guys, Axl sound great and has been okay since the reunion.

Mobile phones record badly. He is better live than some of the recordings.

Yes, he downplays some of the songs, but at least he is able to bring full fire on will.

That has not been the case since the classic era.

Axl will never do a soundtrack because he would hide the masters if he wasn't pleased. A movie production is - at least often - a 100x bigger production than an album. They would never gamble on that.

Yes, of course. And that is the miracle that is GnR, Beatles, Stones etc:

Their biggest gift was their chemistry. Every member seems to almost instinctively play the perfect stuff to make the resulting song something special. 

The logic that more technically gifted players are "better players" is just as flawed as, for instance, saying that all the smartest people in the world are physicians.

It has nothing to do with that.

I would even go as far as saying that many metal musicians cover their lousy song writing talents by impressing head banging fans with technicalmasturbation.
