I didn’t catch Laurence Fishburne. Must watch trailer again.
Ah I caught him this time.
That one character, I think someone said it’s The Ghost, looks like a hunter from Destiny.
-
I was pleasantly surprised with the first one, hopefully this one will be as good.
And they’ve got motherfuckin’ Adam and the Ants playing in the trailer. “Ants Invasion”.

Do you think this ruins the movie for its intended audience (kids).
These kinds of movies don’t really need anything. They’re based on fantasy with kids in mind. I’m not sure what’s the issue with the inclusion of a few non-white characters for the benefit of both white and non-white audiences. Unless, of course, parents are taking their kids in the hopes of giving them a lesson in 1700s French history. Then by all means, have at it. But the last time I checked, I don’t recall half man, half-beast lords living in French chateaus around this time.
You've been reading the wrong history books then! Or maybe I have. I'll have to get back to you.

For a few minutes I thought Michelle McCool might be coming back full time with the way she was eliminating others.
I mean with guest appearances you know they’re not winning. Like when Lita or Molly or Kelly came out, I was like she’s not winning. McCool was different.

Was it just me or was the women’s rumble longer than the men’s?
So many rest spots and rolling outside the ring. I watched with my daughter and she asked about five times if Sasha had been eliminated.

Asuka!
Fucking Ronda Rousey! Perfect fucking song for her, too!
-
Definitely happy about Nakamura. This is the first time I’ve ever been right about my pick winning.
-
Love how everyone’s attacking Heath on their way to the ring.
-
WTF? The Rumble isn’t closing the show? And it’s before the women’s rumble? Holy shit. I guess they’re tired of ending the PPV with boos.
-
Triple threat is a no brainer. Kane is there to eat the pin. They don’t want Braun or Brock to “look weak”.

I met him at a concert in Dallas in 2010. When he does shows in bars it’s fairly easy to meet him if you hang around after the show. The autograph on the vinyl was from his pledge campaign for the vinyl. I believe the vinyl is still available on SMLXL.com

Final predictions...
Asuka wins Women’s Rumble. Too early in her career? I point to ADR and RR 2011.
And since the last three or four RR have been shitty, hopefully WWE makes up for it.
Nakamura wins. He needs it the most. And Nakamura/Styles is a great main event to counter Reigns/Lesnar.
WWE clears DBry to compete and Shane eliminates him or causes him to get eliminated. DBry/Shane at Mania.

This is an absolutely fantastic album. No one knows about Kevin Max! I tried to get @Black Sabbath to listen to him but he said he wouldn't.
I remember waaaay back in the day I made a thread on this forum about him and someone replied and said they were a huge fan and I was shocked at the time... maybe it was you?!
I haven't really enjoyed some of his new music I've heard -- I think he's suffering from lack of a solid producer and a lower budget, not to mention maybe trying to revert back to more of a contemporary religious sound ("Light Me Up" is sooo bad) -- but his early solo work is amazing. If U2 had released Stereotype Be it would be considered one of their best albums.
Have you heard him cover Freddie Mercury? No one out there has the vocal range of this guy right now!
It probably was me. He’s given up on trying to get back into the Christian scene. He’s tired of them and their hypocrisy. The stuff like “Light Me Up” was most likely left over from when he joined the Christian band Audio Adrenaline.
He has a new album coming out. He’s released half of it through a Pledge Music campaign. It’s got Andy Rourke of The Smiths on it.
I love his Save Me cover!
Here’s a preview video he put on YouTube for the first half of the new album AWOL.
My favorite is The Glory Boys. It’s got a Japan/Duran Duran feel to it.
Here’s a pic of my signed vinyl.

They should've hired all writers and directors yeard ago, and written an outline for the trilogy way before TFA even went into production, instead of having directors with opposing views mucking the story up.
And a week or two after VII hit theaters, JJ pitched his story for IX. FFS

Think I'm gonna rank them finally.
Return of the Jedi
The Empire Strikes Back
Revenge of the Sith
A New Hope
The Phantom Menace
Attack of the Clones
Rogue One
The Last Jedi
The Force Awakens

So Finn just happens to work on Starkiller and Snoke’s star destroyer? I’ll bet the next ship they have to infiltrate or blow up will have had Finn stationed on it.

JJ says he sees Episode 9 as the end of the Skywalker saga, and Ridley said she doesn't think she'll return after Episode 9, so I think the idea of generational trilogies is still intact, at least for now.
there will still be tons of spin offs, at least one a year, from now until the end of time though. Make no mistake about that.
Daisy said she never said that. But if they go past EPIX and it's not an anthology film and it's not about Skywalkers, fuck Disney and Jar Jar Abrams.

Every universe.

He refused to do opening credits. It would really ruin a Star Wars film to have opening credits. I'm not sure he was blacklisted after Star Wars or Empire. I think they let him get away with it on Star Wars, but fined and blacklisted him for doing it with Empire.
-
Lucas has been blacklisted since the 70s and he tried to get other directors to do the prequels.
