  1. A few months back (I forgot to mention it) I picked up this bad boy still sealed. "Love Kills" 12" Extended Dance Remix.

  2. Darth Maul has been alive in canon since 2012, before Disney bought Star Wars. He appeared in The Clone Wars and Rebels. He even has a duel with Sidious in one of the last seasons of The Clone Wars. Shit I haven't watched more than the first half of season one of Rebels and I know this shit. Maul eventually tracks down Kenobi and duels him again.

Maul's survival of Episode I pre-dates Disney and was approved by George Lucas who was very involved with The Clone Wars TV show.

I watched a screener of this.

It is fun. It is not without its problems but it is probably better than it has any right to be. I wasn't too keen on the beginning, and actively disliked the ending, but there was a period from circa Chewbacca's entry, up to when they arrived at that desert planet with the cargo, where I was sitting back and enjoying things, and forgetting the baggage that comes with a film such as this. Ending aside, probably the films biggest problem is the story line is so predictable, with every trope recycled such as the,

mentor figure advising a disciple that you ''shouldn't trust anybody'' only for them themselves to betray you cliché, compounded with a love interest betrayal cliché. You see the two betrayals signposted a mile off.

But it was fun. It flows along in an enjoyable manner. The space ship stuff was fun. It quipped along as Disney films do. Chewbacca was of course enjoyable. The droid was a typical star wars-esque character. It ticked along.

    Then the ending,

    Darth Maul.

Throwing such a fanboyish easter egg in like that that was far too forced! Is every character in this universe connected? As I said earlier, how small is this bloody galaxy? And unleashing the light saber with ''Duel of Fates'' playing! And I realise Maul apparently survived his death in Phantom Menace and got robot legs or some bollocks but I do not care about any of that expanded universe garbage. For me Liam Neeson chopped him in half. Far too overt and forced.

    Spoiler

Well maybe you should go back and watch the duel from The Phantom Menace because Liam Neeson did not chop anyone in half.

  4. It was about as good as I expected

Nice small mention to some bounty hunters we’ve seen before, Aurra Sing and Bossk.

Surprised we got Maul, looks like he could be in a sequel. I believe Han’s actor is signed for three films.

Not sure these next few are spoilers because who hasn’t seen ANH/TESB...

The highlights for me were the Kessel Run and Han’s winning of the Falcon in a game of Sabaac.

  5. This leaker and another both claim this is the last of the trilogy format, but not the end of the Kylo story. A second leaker claims we’ll have Episode IX part 1 & 2 or Episode IX and Episode X, but no X, XI, XII.

Second leaker claims Kylo is light and Rey is darkness, major twist is Kylo is both villain and hero.

    This all sounds like shit.

Rian’s trilogy is supposedly about the origin of the force, thousands of years before KOTOR.

  6. Anyone seen the leak for IX? So bad. It’ll make TLJ look like Empire. I’ll put spoilers just in case it’s true.

    Five years later.

First Order is seen as benevolent force, even some Resistance fighters are starting to wonder why they’re fighting.

Hux is a mole, trying to bring down Kylo and take over the FO.

Ren and the Knights of Ren are hunting down force-sensitive children.

There’s a slave colony on an all water planet.

Rey is teaching children to be Jedi.

One child is Reylo’s secret love child. Kylo is furious when he finds out Rey had his child and nearly kills her, is only stopped by Leia.

    Leia has been recast.

I think it's pathetic about Sami Zayn not being allowed on that show.

I wonder what Stepanie thought, when she wasn't allowed to dine with the Saudi Royal family with her father, brother, husband and Angle/Taker/Lesnar.

    Vile proganda that they facilitated.

I heard it was Sami’s decision not to go.

WWE apparently got in a bit of trouble for showing videos of the women on the tron.

  8. I walked into this almost completely spoiler free, so I was surprised.

    Spoiler

The only spoiler I saw was Red Skull made an appearance. I accidentally read that on wiki.

As someone who’s read the comics, I’m not too worried about these heroes being killed off, not to mention they all have sequels. The only one I’m wondering about is Gamora.

I assumed the Infinity War would just be one movie when they changed it from Infinity War Part 1 and Part 2, so I was surprised at how long it took Thanos to get all the stones and snap half the universe out of existence.

The next two Marvel movies are also prequels. Ant-Man and Wasp takes place before IW, Black Widow(?) said Scott was on house arrest because of Civil War. And Captain Marvel takes place in the 90s. That’s also who Fury was contacting at the end. I knew the logo looked familiar.

Good movie, I don’t think it’s going to break Avatar though. Some co-workers said it’s obvious it’ll beat Avatar.

Who knows? These days the DNA match could have come from Ancestry DNA where you submiy DNA to find heritage and lost relatives, but really that's just a way to get people's DNA for the govt database if you ask me.

That's exactly how it happened according to the radio show I listened to this morning. They said someone sent in DNA to ancestry.com or something similar and the police were keeping an eye on it.
