We’ll know pretty early on if it’s going to be available for streaming and download since New Zealand will be the first country to hit midnight on Friday.
Of course, they could also drop it at midnight tonight as well to go with the radio premiere.
Q104.3 out of NYC announced on Facebook that the song is being premiered tonight at midnight:

If anyone has links to stations/websites/streaming services that are promoting its release, please post here and we'll add it to the OP.
Thanks!

Just like GNR, this thread was destined to waste its potential.
Seriously though I'm not surprised a new thread will be started, I think downzy's mentioned that it's harder on the servers or something when a large thread gets lots of traffic, it's better to start a new thread than to add 50-100 pages to this thread.
It's partially to help the forum's performance, but also to start fresh and hopefully have the discussion a bit more focused on the song than all the recent drama.

FYI.
We’ll be closing this thread down and starting a new one once Perhaps has been officially released.
Cheers!

I’ve loved this band forever but man they are pushing me to the breaking point as far as being able to support and enjoy them.
The key to enjoying this band is to stop caring. Become agnostic about anything involved about what this band does or does not do. It really doesn’t deserve anything more (or less). Just find moments you can enjoy and forget all the rest.

They didn't talk him into or suggest reuniting with Slash, if anything they actively worked against it for years. I don't think they can take credit for the reunion or its success
Had Doc been the manager in 2014/2015 when nuGNR was on the slide, he would probably have been responsible for the reunion tours, same goes for Irving and any manager that wasn't connected to the 90s split.
Facilitating a project and tours like this still aren't easy.
Look, I'm not a huge fan of how Fernando has conducted himself with the fan base, but I'll give credit where credit is due. A reunion was never going to happen if Axl suspected it was being pushed on him by management that was only interested in collecting its 10-15 percent. My impression is that Axl is very suspicious of people who are only looking out for their own financial interests and are willing to sacrifice how he feels to achieve their objectives. One of the benefits of TB being less than supportive of a reunion with Slash is that Axl knows they weren't helping him because they knew it would only enrich themselves. I have no doubt that they care about him very deeply based on my own interactions with both Fernando and Beta.
So you can say TB was at the right place and right time, but I don't see how it happens without them.
16 hours ago, vloors said:That was mostly Axl decision. Wasnt he the one that told Beta/TB to get in contact with Slash then they had a dinner meet up.
TB are really just Axls yes men/women.
See my post above.
At the end of the day, if anyone thinks that being Axl Roses's personal or artist manager is easy, well, they should talk to some of the people I've spoken with. I'm not here to shit on him as I don't know him. But I don't think it's coincidental that there's been a revolving roster of people that have come and gone in Axl's life. Managing Axl Rose isn't a job for someone who is there for the pay cheque. It takes a tremendous amount of trust, something that Beta, Fernando and everyone else around him spent years building. Who really knows, but if you think the reunion or tour happens (or continues past a few shows) without TB, you're not going to find much agreement from me.

The Doc McGhees and Irving Azoffs of the world laugh at Fernando and Beta
I don't know about laughing. TB accomplished what both McGhee and Azoff both wanted but could not achieve: massive reunion tours.

They detest the fanbase because they are victims of years of unfair criticism and abuse
Though true to an extent, too often even fair criticisms are treated as and responded to as unfair criticisms.

Again, unless the song is being self-published, any released single by a signed artist is handled by the record company.
As others have pointed out, the only reason this is the fault of any member of Guns or TB is if everything was ready to go but someone from the band or management pulled the plug at the last minute.

Just a reminder that there are people unaffiliated with the band who take it upon themselves to ruin things for others on YouTube.
Assuming it's anyone from GNR or management is responsible for take downs is to forget the nonsense GNR fans have dealt with on YouTube.
We just don't know who is behind what action. It's likely far easier to have something taken down on SoundCloud than proprietary entertainment software (particularly on a weekend).

Have TB expense your bill.

GNR management would not have had anything to do with the logistics of a single unless GNR is publishing and releasing the song itself.
If that’s the case, I can imagine the last 24-48 hours went like this:
Axl: “Fernando, you removed Perhaps from all streaming and distribution services, right?”
Fernando: “All taken care of boss!”
Axl: “Great, now to relax at this local bar…..”
Five minutes later.
Axl: “Fernando!!!”

The Beatles.
Just kidding.
Guns is its own thing. Not too many bands can still sellout stadiums from such a (relatively) small but glorious discography.
I think if Cobain had gone away for awhile after In Utero instead of killing himself he might have had a similar trajectory as Axl. Grohl would have have gone off to do his own thing. I've always wondered what Kurt's reaction would have been to Radiohead's OK Computer. It also felt like the album that guys like Axl and Cobain would want to eventually make. Would Kurt have spent years in a studio looking to evolve Nirvana's sound?

It's not going anywhere. It will eventually be pinned in the archives section for 2023.
Speaking of which, I've got some work to do in that area. Been slacking lately.
