  1. I like dj also. On related news on that metal show last week one of the guys said he is on the same level as zack wylde. Not sayimg I agree with that, just relaying what they said. They were talk about tracii gunns and his old band mates said he isnt on the same level as zack and dj.

  2. I can only speak for myself but I am moderatly satisfied. Sure I could be happier, but I cant bitch to much. I am one of the select few that apparently really like cd. As a whole I like it better than lies and tsi and it is equal to the illusions. You may disagree all you want, thats the beauty of opinion. If the illusions were one album of 15 killer songs it would be better than appitite imo. But as is appetite 10, illusions 1, 2, cd 8.5-9 lies 8, tsi live era 7.5. And the band has toured nonstop since what 09'. Thats pretty fucking good, I'll take that over the dark years of 96-06. That was a hard time. I lived through that, if I get another gnr album eventually I'll will be happy. A reunioun would be amazing but you know.

  3. @rusty I dont really understand your question.

I have seen newgnr three times, all in detroit 02, 06, and last december. Last december was by far the best over all, new and old songs alike. In 02 and 06 it was quiet for all the new music, but last december some of the cd songs got close to as good of receptions as some of the old stuff. Maybe not quiet as good, but not bad. Maybe that had to dp with the fact that cd has been out for a while. If you can get past the fact slash and duff arnt there ot was an amazing concert. If you cant then its prolly just ok.

  4. Ummm Axl invited Robin to play at the a show in the last year... Slash level betrayal? Please.

yeah calling it slash-level was kind of overdoing it on my part. nothing can compare with the hate axl has for slash, because slash is probably the only guitarist to ever overshadow a singer as the mascot of a rock n roll band. tragic irony that it had to be guns n roses where that happened . . .

Well you are wrong on this point. In the grand scheme of rock n roll guitar players are pretty close as dar as popularity and importance. Jimmy page > robert plant pete townsend > roger daultry just to name 2. And the who and zeppelin are heavyweights. And over all slash isnt more famous than axl rose. Slash's career may have been public for longer, but at no time has slash been more famous than axl was circa 92. He was on every mag back then.

  5. Wow I'm surprised by some of the coments on here. Imo better, sorry, and this I love stand up with any of the old songs. And I think they get positive reactions at concerts also. Well they did at the show I went last december in detroit. Cause truth be told those are the three best songs on the album. Ya I like maddy, sod, shacklers, and the others but if I am going to give my honest evaluaition of the situation, those songs could go by by and not to many would miss them. I do like opening with cd untill a new album comes out, then I would drop that one also. But better, sorry, and this I love should be staples from cd no matter what. Even my wife, who doesnt really care, she said "i like thay sorry song, its the best new one ive heard."

  6. Cd should have been released some time between 2000 and 2003 with oh my god, silkworms, maddy, cd, the blues, rhiad, and the other songs from that era. Then in 2008 cd part 2 should have been released with sorry, this I love, better, and other unreleased left overs. And now the band should be working on all new stuff for a comoletly current album. But nothing ever goes,as planned I nthe world of gnr.

  7. I like oh my god better than a few songs on cd. Silkworms never really did much for me. But oh my god I really liked. I remember when that song came out, I was a senior in high school. I called the local radio station to play it while I was in gym class. Then when school got out I ran to best buy to get the cd. There were a couple of good songs on that soundtrack actually, including an eminem song. I remember back then I listened to a lot of mix cd's at the time and I did a super version of appetite with the entire album plus sympathy for the devil and oh my god, I listened to that cd over and over!!! Wow I feel old!!

  8. I like live era, it is really the swan song of classic gnr. Saying that I hardly listen to it. If I listen to live gnr, ritz 88', paris 92, chicago 92, and argentina 93 are better than live era imo.

  9. Van Halen will be inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame this year. Eddie, Alex, Michael, David Lee, and Sammy all get in. rock4 Poor Gary Cherone :( The only way Gary will ever get into the hall of fame is with an admision ticket. It is gonna to make for an interesting induction ceramony.

  10. I got in to them when they first came out in like 99' or something, anyways their first album is pretty good, anyone that likes gnr or aerosmith should like it. Their second album time bomb is ok couple good songs. When I first heard crazy bitch I liked it but I'm burnt out on it now. I recoment these songs:

    1. Check your head- first album

    2. For the movies- first album

    3. lit up- first album

    4. crazy bitch- 15

    5. ridin'- timebomb

  11. Zeppelin were good. That's all I'll say. Talented band, but not on par with the likes of Cream, the Experience, Deep Purple, The Who, even Aerosmith and for the hell of it: GUNS N' ROSES.

I'm getting tiered of aguing with you so I'll make this short and sweet, if you wanna argue the merits of cream or the expierence ok let's argue, but you lost my respect saying deep purple, the who, and aerosmith are better than zeppelin. Obviously you don't know what your talking about. I mean come on? VH1, Guitar World Magazine, and countless others have rated zeppelin as the best hard rock band ever. Who's next poison? Do you think poison better than zeppelin?

    FUCKING RETARD :fuckyou:
