I've just noticed that the intro on Rose In The Wild CD1 is 3 minutes longer than the DVD. Perhaps, the audio was not ripped from the DVD for the CDs?
It could be that the audio was "remastered to shit" for the CDs and that is why it appears lossy?Total time of the silver CDs is 126:32The DVD is 123:292 minutes ago, WillBailey said:Glad you got it mate!
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, Will!

I have obtained a copy of the 2CD/1DVD Rose In The Wild set direct from Japan!
I ordered my copy several hours before Felix liberated the DVD.
I've been collecting essential GNR pressed bootlegs since 1993, and I HAD to have Rose In The Wild!!
I received limited edition number 00054/300.
Unfortunately, I did not get the poster which was displayed here.
Total cost including shipping from Japan was just under $120.
Shipping from Japan only took 4 days.
I hope the spineless losers behind "The Saskatoon Incident" don't try to break into my home to confiscate "A Rose In The Wild"....
Here are a few pics:
If anyone wants FLACs from my silver discs or an ISO from my DVD, just let me know via PM...

Seriously. It is shows like this that show the world how amazing they were in their prime.. They have so little official footage out there that it is easy to forget!
I think Axl 2018 WANTS US to forget the band in their prime.
56 year old Axl can't compete with 25-31 year old Axl!

I noticed that the Philadelphia August 4, 1988 pro-shot DVD was banned from DIME today as a result of an IFPI complaint. The Philadelphia 88 DVD has been floating around the torrent scene for nearly 15 years! WTF is going on??
A torrent has been banned from DIME.

I have seen the Apple Music "Easy" video. Excellent quality with many new scenes in the bootleg uncensored video! I am looking forward to the AFD Super Deluxe Edition box.
-
Great work fernomenoyde! I am looking forward to the TPB torrent.

I'd like to see the pro-shot for the June 13, 1991 Philadelphia show. It could probably compete with the Saskatoon Pro-shot. Such a great show!

To follow up, when I first watched the Saskatoon DVD I said to myself "You know what, I really don't need to see Guns N' Roses live, ever again."
Saskatoon makes it very obvious that the GNR "magic" (for a lack of a better term), that enthralled me as a teenager is long gone....

Seeing shows like these really make you wonder why on earth the band hasn't released this show, or other from the S&B Tour, officially?
What is wrong with showing how great your band was in their prime?
The issue is that the classic performances from the Golden Era (1987-1993) make the NITL show appear as a sad parody of what once was. I blame Mickey and Frank!
Comparing the modern incarnation of the band to the classic lineups from the 20th century via an official archival DVD release may hurt ticket sales.

Is anyone else excited about the upcoming release of the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection featuring 12 classics SF titles from the 80's-90's?
I'm looking forward to obtaining my copy next week!
I'm going to crank AFD, and, Use Your Illusion I & II, while playing the 5 different versions of SF2.
It's going to be 1991-1993 all over again in my world!

I wonder what happened to Axl's voice during the break between 2016 and 2017?
-
Well, the Arlington show 2 nights before wasn't so bad.

Toronto and LA 2016 were professionally filmed, weren't they? Was that whole run filmed?
Agreed about Houston 2016 though. If they don't release that show, I'd hope for a compilation of NA '16 (maybe with a couple Troubadour/'Throne Era' songs).
Please stop hyping the Houston 2016 show! I had a 6th row floor seat, but couldn't go due to a family health emergency. I ended up selling my ticket to a friend in Austin who had never seen GNR before, so it worked out. Although, I wish I could have taped the Houston gig! Now it's lost forever (YT doesn't count)...

The Slash show has been on sale for 36 hours and tickets aren't moving! I think the greedy fucks at Winstar overpriced the Slash gig!
Take a look....

It appears that the only people buying tickets are scalpers!!
Good fuckin' luck!!
I'll wait until the week of the show before buying my ticket.

Great point. Often times the best seats in the house are released within a week of the concert. @NorwayIllusion - keep the faith.
I typically wait until the week or day of the show to buy my tickets. It pays off!

Hi Fernando.
Welcome to Norway jul 19th.
For 30 year i have been a gnr fan, but, the Oslo show this summer, is sold out, damn!
So, i have two questions for you:
1: Can you hjelp me in?
2: Why not?
Well, have a nice european tour, and, enjoy norway.

Check online sales during the week and day of the show. More tickets are released during the week and day of the show for major gigs all around the world. Hang in there!

@Fernando with what line up will GNR continue to tour? Are Slash and Duff staying or will there be any changes in regards to the band?
I don't think GNR has a future without Slash and Duff at this point. Fans would revolt if these two icons were replaced, AGAIN...

@Fernando My friend, legend has it that all 192 shows on the monumental Use Your Illusion tour were filmed and archived 25 years ago.
Are there any plans to monetize the concert recordings from this era? KISS released a multi-volume set entitled KISSOLOGY 10 years ago.
KISSOLOGY served several purposes, it killed off the bootleg KISS video market, pleased millions of fans, and put tons of money in Paul and Gene's bank accounts! KISSOLOGY was a win-win for all involved.
Would GNR be open to releasing some of the BEST un-doctored live performances from the golden era of the band in a multi-disc set? Fans would eat up such a release AND the band would profit. Everyone would win!
Please consider it!!- 5

@Fernando Can we ever expect any DVD releases of classic live material from the golden era? Who has control of the live recordings from the Illusion tour?
We need something to replace the stale Live Era and Tokyo 92 releases!!
Peace!

I would be soooo happy if MATT SORUM returned full time! The band that played on the albums during the golden era should be featured on stage!!

Every show on the UYI tour was professionally filmed and mixed for archival/security purposes. Saskatoon was one of the few that got out...

I do recall that the video for The Garden was directed by Del James.

I've verified that the Saskatoon DVD was not used as the source for the CDs.
The intro on the CD is more of Since I Don't Have You, you can also hear the road crew checking Matt's drum kit, in the background.
Also, at the end of Paradise City, Slash says "Thank You Goodnight!" at 8:13.
That's not on the DVD either.
This proves the CD isn't just a DVD rip.
The audio was simply a victim of a bad mastering job by EVSD...
If only we could obtain the Saskatoon source tape...
